Dollarama

The self checkouts are awful. Had about 40 things as we loaded up for a camping trip and every other item the machine had an error the employee had to fix. I got very frustrated and she told my I should scan everything and just out it on the scale without the bag. How is that amount of stuff suppose to stay on that tiny scale??? I will go to other dollar stores that don't force you to use a self checkout that doesn't even work.

I avoid this store at all cost!When I shop, I want a cashier, Period.There is NEVER anyone on the actual floor, they are all up helping people with self serve.WORST DOLLAR STORE IN THE CITY.I'm not one to really give bad reviews like this, however, I have gone at different times to be fair and it's always the same.

I love this new store! It's a clean store with friendly and helpful staff. Never crowded with people. They sell alot of nice stuff!

This store is unbelievably horrible! I have yet to encounter anyone working there that has any respect for customers, but today was the last straw for me! First of all, when I shop part of what I am paying for is the service. If I have to serve myself from start to finish while someone stands there and watches me, shouldnt my items be discounted? Or is this just another way for a corporate giant to make even more money than they already do?!? Today however, I went to the counter and was told that the self checkout was open. I responded with, can I not have someone ring in my items for me at this cash?". To which she said with a huge sign that she would have to call for backup as she was with a customer. I said ok can you call for back up. She then said "its best if you use this self checkout". So rather than argue

Needed change. Grabbed a chocolate bar. Self checkout machine actually take cash as well as debit/credit. Love it. Don't use their hand sanitizer though, it's scented. Asthma attack coughing fit everyone staring. Sorry for scaring everyone.

Friendly staff and helpful. Also quite a bit diffstuff then the other one I usually go to.

Clean, well-stocked store with friendly, helpful staff. The self checkouts are really convenient when you only have a few things and are trying to get in and out quickly. They also take cash, which is cool.

It's OK for the odd trinket you might need and don't care about quality. Is what it is. But that self checkout machine is a total pile of garbage. Very annoying. Maybe I'm self checkout inept, but I just go to the cashier now. Save the hassle of that cursed machine.
