Driftwood Beach
Lovely quiet place with a beach facing Middle Waterton Lake. It got its name due to dead wood that is drifted by strong wind to the beach.You can swim here during the hot days on summer and early fall, or just relax on the beach. Splashes of clean water, gusts of fresh breeze, colorful pebbles, deadwood constructions and beautiful mountains will surround you at your retreat.

On your way, almost there before Ur designation Waterton Park, if you feel that ur hotel room may not be ready YET, do drop in at this nice beach.Nice view for a couple of pics, stroll the near n clean waterfront and soak in flora n fauna.There are some nice natural wood carvings by nature to use as backdrop 4 ur photo ups.

Driftwood Beach
Driftwood Beach is a nice stop to enjoy a stroll along the gravel beach, the views of the mountains, and the breeze coming off the lake. The beach is on the leeward side of the lake, and the wind can be very brisk here. It is that wind that deposits the driftwood scattered along the the beach area.

It’s such a beautiful area! There’s a small parking lot right by the beach and there are such colourful rocks/pebbles which are so beautiful! It does get very windy so it makes it chilly but such great views and easy to get to!

Driftwood Beach
This place is a hidden gem! Waterton is a beautiful place for couples, families looking for a quick getaway for day trips/weekends. It is surrounded by gorgeous mountains & lakes. Great place for hikes and trail walking. The town has small gourmet restaurants, ice-cream palours and an impressive visitors centre (lots of activities for kids in visitors centre).

Driftwood Beach
A very nice beach with a lot of pebbles perfect for skipping rocks. The water was very clean and less crowded than the beaches in the town. The only downside is that there are no washrooms so we didn’t get to stay as long as we wanted to.
