As new comer to saltwater aquarium and live out of town, I went to Aquarium Illusion with tons of questions. Becouse of my previous experience with othe aquariums I was hesitate to asked everything from them, but Amber-lee and staff make me feel welcome and so comfortable to talk to them about all my problems. They spend hours to explain and teach me, they gave me so many tips how to solve my problems at home wich they could make money.All the fish I bought from Aquarium Illusion are healthy.

This is a great place to shop. First time I came in I had Accidentally killed my fish while upgrading the tank they let me know what I probably did wrong recommended some products to try, offered to test my water, and sent me with some good bacteria to add to the tank. Second time I came in everyone remembered me and my tank it's size what fish I had purchased from them which lead to them being able to give me a very personalized customer experience. Very knowledgeable people and anytime I've asked a question they weren't fully positive about they seemed happy to Google it for me. It's very nice to see that the people here don't just work there but are passionate about the hobby. I've seen the workers here politely refuse to sell certain people fish if/when they know it will be harmful to the fish. Overall very impressed with the people the fish the customer service

Once again, absolutely fantastic service. Amber is a true gem and so personable. She remembered me from over a year ago, asked about my Cancer recovery and really listened to what I want my dream tank to be. I am thrilled to be working with the team at AI to realize my dream tank!

I actually gave this guys 4 stars. The people there are nice and knowledgeable. I don't buy any fish there, but something for our puppy (poochie moochie) There must be a technical issue why it saved just 1 star. And Lori is been so nice and friendly.

It's incredibly disheartening to invest your time and money into purchasing a pet, only to have it pass away so soon after. Even more so when the store that sold you the fish isn't willing to take responsibility for the poor quality of their product. This is a clear indication that the store has no regard for their customers or the well-being of their animals.Furthermore, their refusal to reimburse your funds is a blatant disregard for basic customer service and ethics. It is unacceptable for any business to take customers' money for a product that is of such poor quality that it doesn't even last a day. It's even worse that the store is not willing to rectify the situation by providing a refund. Merely a 10% discount on another livestock purchase which I'm not sure I'll even do after this experience.Overall, I would not recommend this saltwater fish store to anyone. Not only did they sell me a fish that died the very next day, but they also refused to refund your money. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reputable store with better quality products and customer service.

I have purchased many many items at Aquarium Illusions never had a bad experience always treated great by staff.Bought my first 150 gallon there with big sump big stand. Plus everything else there.Great variety of fish and corals. Just bought a Apex Trident working like a charm. Always fun to take a ride to Aquarium Illusion’s and look around talk with staff.We also buy all our raw meat for our Dog (Lola) and treats too. Great variety of pet foods and supplies. We get a lot delivered which is handy glad they have that service. Thanks for everything and see you soon.

Just editing my review because I wanted to add how friendly the staff is here. Everytime I've called or been in they've always been super friendly and helpful. Even for my birthday my mom called about a gift card and my dad went in to buy it, and they both made comments about how great the customer service was. Before you even consider going to your local big pet store like pet smart, go here first and see what they have because I guarantee they'll have what you need and more. I don't even live in Edmonton but I'll always make the extra drive here because they are great.

I recently switched over to saltwater. With Aquarium Illusions expert advice I am just loving it! The livestock is healthy and the selection is great. I went with a custom 95 gal built by them. The whole experience has been great. Shout out to Amber & Chris for their help setting up and giving me a stocking plan that will be compatible.
