When a group of citizens of Brome Lake, 100 km SE of Montreal wanted to have two bridges to complete a bicycle and hiking path along the lakeshore, I worked with anther volunteer engineer and a volunteer architect to reviewed the capabilities of a number of lightweight bridge builders. We were most impressed by MADDI,. As the project developed the town engineer took it over, and contracted MADDI to build te two bridges. They are now very popular, and even those Nervous Nelies who said they would never go across the gap are quite happy, since the bridges are as solid as a rock
