Auberge Le Sunshine

Excellent baked goods and coffee with a very welcoming staff. I stopped in unexpected on a long bike ride and will certainly be back for more.

After a long bike ride in the area we were pleasantly surprised to discover this quaint cafe. We enjoyed the savoury Mexican meat pie and quiche and picked up carrot and maple soup to go, which was delicious. The proprietors were friendly and gracious and even went so far as to shuttle us back to our car so we could return for our bikes. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

We have not been here since pre covid. The bakery has been remodeled, now offering more space for coffee and pastries. I must say the bakery is better than ever. Offering bread, sweets,meat pies, fruit pies, fine French pastries. Coffee, lattes espresso... just a short ride from the derby line border. No more ArriveCan ap to fill out. Located just 5 minutes from the USA border. This place will satisfy all your craving for fine French pastries.

It is a very wonderful place in which I spent 6 days. Their treatment was very nice, even though I was not fluent in French or English. They all cooperated with me to provide my comfort. I thank them very much, especially Mr. Jenny

Since it has been 2 years we were hoping we'd find Auberge Le Sunshine still in business. Yippee! Had a very nice lunch - my prosciutto and cheese sandwich with pesto and a little tomato heated up like a panini was so very tasty. My wife really liked her ham and cheese on a croissant (also heated up a la panini), and the butternut soup we shared rounded out the meal quite well. Bought some desserts for later tonight, some bread to take home, and completely cleaned them out of Bulls Head ginger beer. Perhaps I have enough to last us until next year.

Be prepared to gain 5 pounds! Very comfortable accommodations. The food is amazing it’s like going to grandmas house! I can’t get enough. Thank you auberge le sunshine for making my day!

This was the perfect stop for us when we were making our way back to the US from our visit to Montreal. It's on the road to the Stanstead Crossing, so there's no detour, but aside from that it has a large selection of items from which to choose. I bought the maple and almond croissants. Let me just say that they are worth every penny! The lattes/coffee are also pretty decent. I didn't try anything else on the menu, but based on how busy it was, I'd say that it's safe to try other items. I will be coming here again. They have a nice inside and outside seating area, and there are some games inside as well for little kids. My kids played outside, but it was good to see that they have baby/toddler friendly items as well.

Love this bakery! I come up from Vermont to get my bread for the week. The staff is awesome and so nice.

Excellent service, amazing selection of fresh pastry, great coffee and such a great place overall. I can see why it was so popular and I would definitely go back again.
