Do not purchase here. Staff is very friendly to your face, but they will hamstring you and lie at their first opportunity. Bought a car in 2020 and they are still refusing to honour that contract to fix the rust they said they were going to and have run me in circles since then. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere

I was fortunate to be greeted by Etienne. He took the time to listen, suggest and try hard to find me what I was looking for without being pushy. Unfortunately there wasn’t a vehicle that met my needs. He’s still trying to locate one for me. I would highly recommend coming to this dealership and ask for him personally. I was drawn to Toyota Gatineau because they claim to prioritize family values

I came for a test drive and that was a great experience with Fabio. He is a careful and attentive man. He showed me all the detail information about the car. We ended up with a deal and was happy to ring the bell (they have a real bell there to kudo a good thing) to congrats his service.

The staff at this location is friendly and accommodating. However, we did notice that the vehicles here are relatively more expensive compared to other places. As a result, we decided to explore other options and ended up purchasing our vehicle elsewhere, where we found better prices.

I am going to try to review this dealership as neutrally as possible by highlighting key memories and then you can decide if 3* is fair or not.#1. I arranged a test drive for the next day and when I arrived (45 minute drive) the car was still in the showroom, dead battery, no gas. They didn't bring the car out for me to try it as they valued my trade in very low (even though its technically worth more than the car I am looking to buy) and we were having difficulties negotiating prices. This was the excuse lets see if we can come to an agreement on prices before you even test drive it."#2. I come back to test drive the car and there is almost no gas in it (running with its emergency tank) as the salesman (Kevin) waits to get a dealer plate to take it to the gas station. Note: Kevin came in on his day off to do this all and I appreciated that. The test drive was accompanied.#3. I felt the negotiation was not really fair as I was buying a fairly niche lexus sportscar. I could have walked and came back in a month and got a better deal. There was a bit of insulting of my trade-in as quote "well you overpaid for your Lexus that for sure" (which it wasn't

Beware of Toyota Gatineau. They sold us a car with incorrect tire measurements, putting our family's safety at risk, especially during winter with young children. The consequences were severe when one of the tires catastrophically failed, and the tire broke off entirely while driving, which could have caused fatal accidents or severe injuries. We were left with a hefty repair bill of over $2500, as the suspension was destroyed, not to mention the additional $1000 we initially paid for the tires.Throughout our interactions, the dealership's negligence and incompetence were evident. Despite multiple diagnostics, they failed to identify the tire measurement issue, even though we used their service center for tire changes every winter since purchasing the car.They even charged us for services we didn't agree to. When confronted, they refused to take responsibility and brushed us off, promising a call from management that never came. This level of unresponsiveness and indifference from the general manager, service manager, and even the president displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and customer service skills.Considering the risks to safety and hard-earned money, we strongly urge you to explore alternative options for your car-buying needs. Toyota Gatineau's actions speak volumes and undermine their empty claims of 'family values.'The severity of Toyota Gatineau's mistake compels us to warn others about the potential hazards of dealing with this dealership.
