Humaniti is currently a work in progress and having been here since day one I can personally attest to it’s constant evolution. This list of perks to name a few includes Teslas available for shared used, co-working space with wi-fi, gym space, delivery notifications and a doorman 24/7 at your disposal. You will also find many services a la carte ($) to make your life easier such as housekeeping services, car wash, dry cleaning services, the delicious H3 restaurant and coming soon massage therapy, valet service, Ange bakery etc. You are perfectly located with the old port 5 minutes to the south, Chinatown 2 minutes to the East and in the heart of the financial district of downtown Montreal. In closing when you come to humaniti you will be part of a community with a wonderful staff that will make your life easier. Truly hotel living every day of the year!

I had the chance to visit the project a few days ago. It's pretty much exactly what I am looking for as a place to stay and work remotely.Great location, convenient amenities directly within the building, like the coffee shop (where I had lunch, and it was good), and the grocery store. There is also a well stocked gym, a pool and a sauna with massage offered on location. And my favourite one was the common room where there are comfortable and well lit reading spots, tables to use for study/work and many chairs/sofas to simply relax.I even had to join in a Zoom meeting while I was visiting and people asked me where I was because it was so nice in the background. And the view! One of the available unit had the best one I've seen in a while. It was a grey rainy day and it still was a nice view. The picture doesn't do it justice.Overall it's a superb project and I would feel at home pretty fast.Totally worth to visit this unique luxurious experience!

I'm a woman who often travels alone. This is one of my favorites. Very well appointed rooms, only a little bit of carpet around the bed, great location - very walkable, fantastic service and a burger extraordinaire. This feels like a hotel should. Highly recommended.

Poor air quality throughout the building. Tons of smokers, management does not do anything despite having rules". Do not recommend living here for your health."

The setting and ambiance at this hotel are very nice. I went to the terrace restaurant. The view was nice, the music was great. I was here only for dessert but they took too long to bring my order and brought me the wrong item. They fixed it afterwards and the staff was friendly.

There aren't enough words to describe how delighted we are with this hotel.I'd specifically like to thank the great staff that have not only been extremely helpful but have done their due diligence to make my girlfriend and I feel comfortable during our stay. As we were visiting for our anniversary, we were also given different desserts as a welcoming gift from the hotel. The amenities at this hotel also go beyond what any other hotel would offer. Not only is the service amazing but the food, drinks, and different health and wellness areas in the hotel are miles ahead of what other places in the world are able to offer. Working in a hotel, I can only hope that we are able to strive for this level of excellence. The room provides what can only be described as a first class experience that is undeniably luxurious and has reasonably priced drinks and snacks available for the guests. My only gripe would be that the doors will need to be pulled tight as they aren't heavy enough to close on their own.More importantly the location of the hotel is close to everything that Montreal can offer. We were able to visit every major neighborhood and district by walking less than 20 minutes from the hotel.Again I'd like to thank the great staff at the hotel for providing such an amazing experience at the hotel. I am sure that the next time I plan to visit Montreal, I will be staying here again!

June 2023: Most of my original review below remains true, but after nearly 2 years here, I must update it.1) The rent increases are exorbitant and non-negotiable. This would be more palatable if 2) the management were at the levels one expects of a luxury building catering to an international upmarket clientele. The front-of-house staff has gotten less experienced over time. Most are polite, but do not greet residents or visitors unless greeted first; most who do greet do so as if it's something their boss told them to do. This is a training issue, and I'm not sure why they are not better prepared for this sort of work, ie, high hospitality (since this is supposed to be like living in a luxury hotel). It's also a security issue: staff should greet everyone, because people who are not supposed to be here are less likely to do something bad if they know they've been seen by staff. To that point: Random people are allowed to enter the private residential areas of the building without registering at the front desk -- unheard of in other cities, and irresponsible.Several of us residents have complained that the main entry of the building is incredibly under-designed and underwhelming, and decidedly not luxurious. The entry to the new hospital nearby is more comforting. There seems to be no real impulse at the landlord's to beautify the public face of their own property, which is bizarre.Humaniti is a nice place to live. The above complaints are all made within the context of the high rents. In Montreal, it seems luxury" is defined only by price point and location

update 2021/Jan/26:add some videos of some of the problem within the building:1. morning construction drilling2. hallway compressor room with high-pitch loud noise(the high-pitch loud noise significantly affect the nearby tenant'slife quality, especially at night, the constant high-pitch noise can drive you crazy. Humaniti failed to fix this for many months)This is the so far very unfortunate experience of living for four months in Humaniti.(if you see any 5, 4 stars reviews, they were posted by people who work for Humaniti or Cogir, which mean those are just advertisings)Here is a list of all the major issues:1. Fire alarm runing at all times. It seems like they are testing the fire alarms but with no notification to the tenants whatsoever. Which may mean they are offering tennats a building with a not-ready-yet fire system. If that is the case, that is a huge legal issue and it means they are putting tenants lives and safety at risk. Just in the past 24 hours the fire alarm rang four times, and one being at 5am. Also, the emergency exit available to the apartment renters is blocked by a steel structure which greatly impedes rapid mobilization of the people towards the outside and might potentially be dangerous on its own because people can hit one of the lower bars within the structure and fall off the remaining set of stairs. I added a photo of the steel structure that is obstructing the emergency exit passage.2. Drilling and banging at all times from Monday to Saturday. They are offering a building that is not finished, I mean, they only finished the concrete structure and told the tenants their apartments were ready. They lied. The fact that the building is hugely unfinished means there isconstruction going on all the time, inside and outside. There are many apartment units which have lots of interior work to be finished, and that means lots of drilling and banging right next door or right on top of your unit. All the tenants are actually living within a huge construction site.3. Like other tenants mentioned, upon signing the contract for the apartment, we were promised a series of communal ammenities, none of which are ready and supposedly will then only be finished by the spring of 2021. This means we tenants are paying a plus for ammenities that won't be available to us for almost a whole year of paying rent.Living in Humaniti feels like a huge scam, besides being a daily nightmare. If you value your well-being and safety, don't chose to live here.

Humaniti building is exceptional! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's easy to access a supermarket and metro, making getting around the city a breeze. The only downside to this property is that the rent prices are a bit high. However, considering the quality of the building, the amenities, and the great staff, I would still highly recommend Humaniti building to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient apartment.

If you like a cold apartment during winter, or a hot one during summer, being woken up with alarms and flashing lights, love build defects in your home and get pleasure from living on a construction site, then Humaniti is for you.All of the 5-star ratings were made by so-called local-guides before a single tenant entered the building. The services they promised aren't being delivered, which would be fine if it was communicated. The nicest doorman left, we queue for the elevators because it's being shared with construction folk.Enjoy the great view from your dungeon cell!
