Nordheimer Ravine to Cedarvale ParkWe started the hike at the Spadina Station and passing by the Baldwin steps leading to Casa Loma.We bypassed the Baldwin steps and went on the trail to Cedarvale Park. There was a nice display of fall colours. There was also an off-leash dog-park.

Cute little ravine in the middle of a busy city area in midtown. Great alternative to getting around the area instead of walking on city roads. It can get very muddy when snow thaws but that's to be expected. It's very clean and well maintained by volunteers in the area and has a small dog park located in the middle of the trail. My dog and I like to walk this ravine on weekends to get from our apartment to the dog park and the Spadina Starbucks :)

A whole different world within a city.. Wonderful for those who want to experience forest bath.I didn't experience anything odd but hopefully they have security in place in case any issue occurs or any anti-social elements attack.

This ravine has a built in off leash dog park. I go almost everyday to walk my dog and escape the city. You feel like your out of the city. It also connects with the Belt Line which is a beautiful walk.

This ravine is across the street from the St. Clair West subway station. Down 100 steps, one enters a magical space where the trees tower over you and the houses above fade away. The trail is easy to negotiate and winds along a picturesque creek. You can follow down to Casa Loma or Davenport, or north of St Clair as well. Such a fine respite from busy streets and towers.

Always a new way to find the light in these trees. Such a delight to discover each time we go through. Trail is mostly gravel and/or packed dirt which is nice to run on

Serenity and nature in the heart of Toronto.Great for dogs with a newly built off leash area.Refreshing and calm environment for walking in groups or alone to meditate in this Ravine below street levelRunners abound and kids are joined with their parents exploring nature which abounds in the protected wildlife areas.Sit and relax on one of the many benches and breathe the fresh air, perhaps to listen to the wildlife, ponder life or read a book.Enjoy this oasis in the heart of the city from sunrise to sunset
