Husband and I rented snowmobiles for the full day on March 25 and had a wonderful time. Very informative and friendly staff. Machines were perfect. Will definitely rent again!

My family and I rented 2 single seat Yamaha vector and 2 double seat Yamaha venture snowmobiles. These snowmobiles were in pristine condition however they are EXTREMELY difficult to drive and very dangerous! We had excellent snow to drive the snowmobiles on as well.. anyway, these two Yamaha snowmobiles are known as “trailsleds”. This means they are not meant for going off of the trail only to stay in the trail. Well I can promise you that they are not trail friendly at all. They are heavy and VERY DIFFICULT to drive and if one of the snowmobile skis go off the trail by just 6 inches you better hold on cause these big clumsy and ridiculous sleds will pull you right off the trail. They are total JUNK and the most pathetic snowmobiles I have ever drove. I am 42 and my dad is 66. We have drove snowmobiles our whole lives and have NEVER experienced such a terrible time snowmobiling. The people at Deadwood Outdoor Rentals were professional but these sleds should be trown in the garbage as they are extremely dangerous to drive, nearly impossible to turn around, and just basically a nightmare to drive in EVERY way. I’m guessing this company knows about these sleds as when we brought the sleds back both people that took the sleds from us knew exactly what we were talking about regarding our complaints to the sleds and both guys couldn’t have agreed with us more.Do yourself a favor and rent snowmobiles from another company that cares what kind of snowmobiles they are renting to their customers.Sincerely,Ryan Burwick

Amazing time! Super easy rental process, very informative staff and helpful in suggesting where to go for the day. Snowmobile was very well maintained. We were out riding for about 7 hours and experienced zero issues, would definitely rent from them again if we ever come back to the Deadwood.

We enjoyed our experience snowmobiling but, what left a bad taste in my mouth was the customer service we received. I paid the same amount as the rest of the group, yet my reverse and parking brake did not work.

From start to finish our experience with the staff was excellent! When we got there they had our paperwork laid out and ready to go. We brought our own gear, but they have all the gear you need ready for rent. They showed us in detail the trails. Before we left we got a complete run down of our snowmobiles. The machines ran like a dream! Thank you soo much for our wonderful experience!! We will definitely be recommending to family and friends!

Terrific first experience with electric bikes. Our hosts at Deadwood Outdoor rentals were very helpful in explaining the use of the electric bike. We headed south and had a great trip. Great opportunity to see the beauty of South Dakota on the Mickelson trail. Highly recommend!

High quality rentals. High quality service. They get you on the trails safely and they don’t waste your time. They are very informative as well.

Easy rental process. Super nice and knowledgeable staff. Prices are great for renting UTVs! They have half days (am/pm) and full days for rentals. The half days are 4 hours and full day is 8 hours. The rental comes with the gas included and a GPS tablet that actually works! They just got the KZR and it only had 60 miles on it when we rented it. Awesome equipment and well cared for! Highly recommend!
