Throughly disappointed in this place!! Today my sister and I went in for a pedicure. Upon arrival the girls filled up the tub with warm water. As they were filling the tub my sister noticed a small crack in the tub but thought nothing of it. After she was finished and they were dumping the tank they accused my sister of breaking the tank and went on talking in their language about us. When we told them that it was there before we started they said no it wasn’t and that she moved around in the chair to much and broke it which in no way would break the chair. We have been going to this place for at least a year now and needless to say today was our last and final visit. We will not be back and will be taking our business elsewhere!

I drive 35 minutes out of my way just to go to this salon. Staff is absolutely amazing. The attention to detail is unmatched, I always leave so happy with whatever service I get. Prices are great too! 10/10 would recommend

I’ve been going to Bliss Nails since they opened 4 years ago. They have been absolutely amazing every time I come in. They accommodate all of my needs and treat me with nothing but respect. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! I highly recommend Bliss Nails, especially RB ☺️

I went here for the first time 2 weeks ago and I am absolutely obsessed with my nails! I had RB as my nail tech and she was so kind and helped me fix my nails that I had gotten from a place in Trenton that I absolutely hated! I have now found my go to place for nails and I will continue to see RB! Clean, and professional establishment

I really wanted to love this place. My first pedicure there was great. The second was not. I took my son for his first pedicure. They started his first which I didn’t understand because he wasn’t getting polish. Meaning he had wait a long while for me as my pedicure was started about 10 mins after his and we also had to wait for the polish to dry. He was impatient waiting as the girl said she would be back in 10 mins but she never came back at all to check on my toes.I asked her not to cut my toe nails too short as I like them to be longer. She was speaking to her coworker and was distracted. She cut my nails very short that you can see the indent of toenail line. My big toes were cut on a diagonal and the polish was missing from the top corner of one big toe nail.They did offer to fix it for me when I was paying and said I won’t return. I told them the problem. They said why didn’t you tell us and I did. I did tell the girl doing my toes I wasn’t happy and that they weren’t straight. The only way to fix it is to file it shorter and they are already too short. There was also still some skin that needed to be filed off on my foot bottom. Normally when I leave a pedicure my feet feel so clean this wasn’t the case. She barely filed the bottom of my foot or removed skin. She did a rush job and it really shows. I won’t return here ever again or recommend this business. Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. They did offer to fix it. The person watching my younger child needed to leave for work and they were late because of how long I stayed waiting to be told my polish was dry and nobody came back to me.They did offer for me to come back another day to fix it. When you’re paying a babysitter $20/hr because you have a special needs child it’s not affordable to come back another day.

I went in for a pedicure today and had the WORST experience I have ever had.I am a long time customer there, and will never go back.My experience was rushed, the water ice cold, I asked three times politely for it to be warmer ( she told me it was plumbing issues) she said my nails are broken and brittle( loudly) and paid ZERO attention to what she was doing. Talked to everyone else working the entire time, which I honestly don’t mind, but she couldn’t talk and focus, so she kept stopping what she was doing, then rushed to catch up. She cut my nails painfully SHORT and then blamed my nails. She then painted my nails very awkwardly creating horizontal lumps. When asked if it was ok, I pointed them out, and was told it was my nails, then when I said I have never had this problem before, the nail technician blamed my polish choice. Not really understanding I asked if I just chose a poor quality polish, because it’s a colour I often wear. She proceeded to say loudly in the salon my nails are bumpy and broken ( they aren’t, I don’t really understand that) and pointing embarrassingly to my toe, in a very busy nail salon. I left disappointed , and didn’t want to say anything in-front of her peers or in-front of other customers. I called after my appointment to share my experience, and was told I could come back to have it redone. But I don’t have the time ( it is Sunday night) and wanted at least a partial refund.My complete disappointment came when I was phoned back from the manager and told that I would only receive a discount under the two conditions that I come back in, have the polish stripped from my toes and delete my bad review. The polish stripped fromMy toes saves me from doing it , but there in lays the time issue. I don’t have time to sit and have them stripped. I am not trying to get a free pedicure , the job is awful and it does need to be removed. It is so thickly painted however, with any luck it will lift off in a day.My review prior to this was only “one star” . But , if I’m giving up 60 dollars, it needs to be said why. I do not think companies should be able to hold refunds over customers heads for sharing honest reviews of poor experiences. It is not a logical business strategy and frankly is why I am sharing my experience in detail.Keep my 60 dollars, I have acetone here . An extremely scummy way to run a business. You do not get to black mail customers after poor experiences for good reviews.

My go to place for nails. Such a great job every time. :) When it comes to nails I feel it's important to speak up about exactly what you want. The nail techs at Bliss always follow through and I leave super happy. Thank you!!

My fav nail salon in Bowmanville! Been coming here close to 2 years now, more consistently the last year. Most of the technicians are great here (sorry I can’t remember their names!) but I always book with my “girl” RB for the last year now. She’s the absolute best, always takes care of my horrible nails lol I always recommend her to others.One thing I would recommend to this salon from what I have noticed is not to call clients so frequently to change their appointment times as it can get annoying for some. I’m totally ok with it because if I can’t make it, I’ll let them know, but sometimes it works out. Not everyone enjoys being called to adjust their appointment times. Just something I’ve noticed and think it would be helpful for your business. Other than too, I appreciate your salon always being clean and sanitary and welcoming!!

Non-friendly and they ripped us off.Up-selled to shellac nail polish for two little girls. Was told $15 each before they started. Then all of a sudden when they finished they wanted $18 out of nowhere. The cashier charged more than the $18 per child plus tax and tip. Never EVER going back or recommending this place. The staff (except for the cashier) were also all so rude!So hard to find a decent nail place in Bowmanville!
