North Ridge Ranch

What a wildly fun way to enjoy Canada’s back country! Just beautiful trail, and the dogs are so sweet. Brad is a great teacher for our first time ever sledding.

My fiance and I visited the North Ridge Ranch a few weeks ago and it was such an amazing experience. For starters, the couple that runs the ranch are incredibly nice and knowledgeable about their business. When we arrived, we were given a run down on the what to expect and how to have an enjoyable and safe experience. We were then led to our sleds where we got to see how all the dogs were hooked up (the wife also made sure to tell us all the names of the dogs that were on our team - I thought this was awesome!) The ride itself, whether you are in the sled or steering" is incredible! My fiancé and i had a blast

What an absolutely amazing experience we had at North Ridge Ranch! Going through the trails was like being in a truly magical winter wonderland, and the dogs on our team were the most friendly and well behaved boys and girls we could ask for. Not to mention, it is super fun interacting with them and learning all about their personalities!Brad and Leah are super welcoming, and do everything they can to ensure your and the dogs' safety. Just be sure to listen carefully to all their tips and tricks, and stand up straight on those brakes! Once you get the hang of it, it is one of the most fun and worthwhile experiences you could ask for :)

My girlfriend and I recently visited North Ridge Ranch and took the half day tour. After a very thorough lesson on never not being on the break, we were off on the trails!I have quite a bit to say about the experience, but the biggest contributors were the owners, and the property.The owner Brad and Leah were fantastic! Not only in the way they treated their guests, but in the care they so obviously have for their dogs. It is so very clear that the dogs are very loved, and well taken care of. They even have a rather large retired dog population!The property is also amazing! The winding trails covered in a fresh coat of snow is utterly breathtaking.All in all, it was an amazing once in a life time experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with even a slight interest.

Did a half day tour when temperature dropped to -29. Brad gave clear instructions on sled driving (brake is your best friend) and checked on participants regularly during the 2 hour plus run. One participant didn’t have warm enough gloves and Brad offered him his own. (Tip: mittens are warmer than gloves.) The hot chocolate and granola bars during mid-way break were extremely appreciated - I drove and my eyelashes started to freeze! The dogs seemed intimidating at first but were very happy to be petted. Follow the wardrobe recommendations in the registration and you will be comfortable. Great experience overall!

Super adventure! Brad & Leah are welcoming, informative, friendly, helpful and genuinely care for their dogs. Dogs are friendly & love to run. A family outdoor experience, 14 of us ranging from 5-73. Perfect, unique, lots of stories to share and pictures for our memory book. Excellent! Everyone wants to go again. Thanks so much.

We went on our first dog sled run today and it was an out of this world experience! Not only were we greeted by Brad and his super friendly wife Leah, we were greeted by many many happy/well behaved dogs! Such a beautiful property and so many well cared for dogs! Definitely recommend, we will be going again!

It was beautiful sledge ride through woods. Instructor had given clear instructions and he was checking all the time during ride if whole group is on track. Dogs are adorable and very friendly. Driver on the sledge has complete control throughout ride, do consider this before booking and enjoy this winter activity. Recommend completely.
