If I can leave a one star review, I would! They’re very rude. They treat all Filipinos as if they’re higher than them. I will not recommend!!!

You still have to get a ticket/number even with an appointment set up online. I went during a weekday afternoon so it wasn't busy, maybe only 20 people inside (so I recommend you go on a weekday). The staff were very polite and helpful. And there's a place at the 4th floor where you can have your documents photocopied.

FINAL AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENTS BY MAIL  (RESIDENTS OF MANITOBA)Excellent service was provided by the Notarials Section regarding the request for the final authentication of documents to send to the Phils.  They were prompt in responding to e-mails & meeting the service standard.  Thank you very much. The key isto communicate with them via e-mail the documents you are sending & request/confirm the requirements.  Make sure to review the completeness of documents, include correct postal money order/bank draft payment fee payable to Philippine Consulate General & a self-addressed xpresspost envelope.  Send the package via Canada Post xpresspost envelope.  Be sure to take a pic or write the number of the xpresspost tracking nos.

Their appointment system is archaic and inefficient. And if you try to walk in for consular services needed urgently, the staff are utterly rude and unaccommodating. This is coming from a Filipino and I would not consider them kabayans.

This is easy to locate. The Philippine Consulate General Office in Toronto. Easy access by public transportation. If you drive you can find parking around the area. There are lot of parking space behind the building for 7 dollars per hour. The office is at the 7th floor. Expect a line up. Service is fast. You need to get the number as soon as you get in. They will you when it's your turn.

What is the point of making people book appointments online when you still have to grab a ticket and wait when your ticket number is called? They don’t even bother checking if someone actually booked the appointment online, you can just walk in and grab a ticket.Note to anyone who’s visiting this location: always confirm if the information that they’re giving you is correct. Clerk at window 1 insisted that I do not need to get an NBI fingerprint card since I previously applied for an NBI clearance. Mailed my application to the NBI office in Manila and the NBI office rejected my application because I didn’t include a fingerprint card. They can’t even be bothered to apologize for their mistake. People take time off work just to go to the Philippine consulate. The best that you could do is treat them with respect and give them accurate information!!

Miserable workers, who make judgments and abuse their power to make it really difficult to get in and out on time. I was discriminated against and offered little to no help even though I was really confused about some procedures. Anytime I asked for help they would give me attitude, roll their eyes at me, and make it well known that I’m being a nuisance for needing any assistance. It was an awful experience and I’m glad I don’t have to come back for another 10 years, the only helpful person there was Marlyn.Your staff needs training with customer service and they should do their own job well. We are customers that just want this to get done fast. With them giving us attitude and being irritable all the time shows us that they’re not even trained to work in a fast working environment. Management should do something about their own workers.ALSO!We booked an appointment for 10am-11am. When we arrived, we were told that we needed to take a number and wait for our turn as well as the people who just walked in. Appointments are MEANINGLESS!
