Breathtaking! Highly recommend the Flocks of Sheep trail, but only for those who are not afraid of heights.

This is a terrific starting point for a beautiful hiking trail, a couple of them in fact, with unsurpassed views of the high cliffs and picturesque coves below. Lovely vegetation all around.

gorgeous views all around. paths leading along the coast line and through the brush. when i went there was so many wild flowers of all varieties. it was not very busy. i highly recommend checking it out! there's even chairs you can sit in and relax in.

Southwest Head Light House
Take the ferry to Grand Manan Island. it's approximately 30-minute drive on the island. It's has very nice lookout points. There are a number of trails on the island. The trails are not maintained in the area of Southwest Head Light House.

It is a bit of drive to the southern end of the island but the cliffs and coves are amazing.

My favorite place on Grand Manan Island. Wide open visas with views of Maine and in the distance Machias Seal Island. Also great views of the cliffs.
