Great family restaurant. Welcoming with homey ambiance, delicious food, nice mix of tourists and locals chatting. Places like this used to dot this stretch of the TransCanada. Makes me nostalgic. Was there today. Will have breakfast there tomorrow. Because I’ll likely not be this way again. Handy if you are lucky enough tb camping at Pancake Bay park just up the road.

All sandwiches were yum (family tried all of them) and apple fritters had us going for our whole 9 hour car ride. My latte wasn’t great tho. Maybe stick with the drip coffee here.

Excellent apple fritters. Always freshly baked and giant size, great for sharing. Clean bathrooms, for a quick highway stop or try the restaurant for a sit down meal. COVID protocols in place, with hand sanitizing station upon entrance and friendly service. Dog friendly rest stop.

Come for the apple fritters, stay for the friendly owners and the great take out hot food. Enjoyed a poutine and bacon cheeseburger on their patio overlooking the greatest lake.

Stopped here for gas and a quick washroom break the service was nice the guys was there almost immediately to fill out gas and clean the windows. The apple fritters are also pretty damn good. I would drop by just to get some more.

First time we stopped here the apple fritters were sold out so make sure you go early. $3.70 each and made fresh daily. It's bigger than expected and I found 1 was good to share between 2 people. Perfect road trip food!

The gas pump is located right next to The Voyageur restaurant. The convenience store has everything from dry goods, ice cream, alcohol, fresh homemade baked goods and smoked fish.Expect friendly staff while filling up!
