Tofino Distillery

Very nice place, felt cozy. Nice decoration. We were excited to try the vodka just to find out it wasn’t made from potato, it was made from grain. As I expressed the vodka wasn’t authentic as it was made by grain, i was arrogantly corrected by the lady at the bar, who tried to tell me that vodka is made from grain in Germany. I was trying to give my honest reviews of the vodka, gin and Absinthe (absinthe I really enjoyed) and the lady simply brushed off as if the opinion of their customers doesn’t matter. You would think it should be a nice thing to ask your customers to leave a review, so you would know which they enjoyed more and which not so much. As a local and someone who came here for the first time, I felt I was treated as if my opinion didn’t matter and I wasn’t able to express myself. As if their motto is, ‘If you don’t like it, leave then’. Rather than to welcome opinions if someone does not like one of the tasters. Still a nice addition for our community! My daughter and our friends really enjoyed the cocktails.

Not dog friendly. Not on patio, etc. Just FYI.They’ve had too many issues with dogs is what we were told. Fair - but signage to that effect would help.Great distillery. Fun options. Old growth cedar gin is a modern classic. Cocktails are good in the flight.If you love liquorice try the absinthe. They nail the heavy ouzo sense at the beginning, with balance at the back.Super excited for the whisky release!

Great place to come for drinks. I love that you can try the different alcohol types straight or get a sampler of their mixed drinks. The bartender made the drinks quickly. It wasn't very busy when we went and the atmosphere was really cozy. We also bought bottles of their alcohol to take home. Would definitely recommend to others and will go back next time I am in Tofino.

Amazing service and great drinks. There is a group of 10 and the place was packed but we still received amazing service. They have very good drinks and a large variety at very good prices. Would definitely recommend this please if you're visiting Tofino. Most likely you'll end up buying some bottles. Did you tend to fill up relatively quick.

What a neat experience this was! All local made spirits and liquor. Friendly staff and good selection of things to purchase. The bartender was fabulous and she even gave us lots of recommendations of what other drinks you could make with their product.They have flights of mini cocktails which my wife and I got one each for a total of 6 samples. Great way to taste each type!

Had a great time at the distillery! Great staff and great spirits! Loved the cocktail flight!One of the owner's even sat with us and chatted for about a half an hour explaining all about their products and the processes involved! Great touch!Top notch service and products all around!Can't wait to go back!

Happy we found this gem by coincidence. The place has a variety of distilled drinks and cocktails. I tried a taster with a combination of drinks. I recommend it but keep in mind this flight will be much stronger than a beer flight you usually get at breweries. The place was cozy and tables were safely distanced. Will be visiting again!

What a cool place to sample local distillate!

Normally we are brewery people, but this distillery surprised me. The 3 drink flights are ingenious and we got to try 6 different cocktails between the two of us. The absinthe lemonade and the Caeser were our favorites.

Cool place to check out and do a tasting. I tried a couple of their gins and their absinthe, which was no joke! Definitely worth a stop if you have some time. Just make sure you have a DD, cuz their drinks aren't weak!
