Charminar Indian Cuisine | Brampton

One of my friends referred me this place, so I tried it last weekend. The host was very accommodating and the place had wide options to choose from ! If you like South Indian food, you should definitely try !!

Manchurian gobi was way too hot… my wife and I were struggling. Then came my samosa chaat … omg fire Chili … I was using tissue to wipe nose and drinking water. The rest of meal was okay. My wife had saag with naan. And I had chana patura. We overordered our food- our fault. However, the appetizers ruined the rest of meal. Owner: please reduce your chili peppers - it’s way too much for Indian standards. The food was fresh and had good presentation but just too hot - even for us Indians. We probably won’t go back because we heard another lady at another table gave feedback to manager that it was way too spicy. Dinner came out to $63 plus tip … around $73. Again we over ordered for our Valentines dinner.

Charminar minar biryani is the favorite of family. They have many branches in different cities like brampton, whitsby, mississauga, london and other cities. The flavor of biryani is authentic and traditional. The location is good with other businesses in the same market complex, and it's kids friendly. There are a lot of parking spaces available. Staff service is good.

Charminar has a very pleasant ambience and this restaurant is on top of all other places. The taste is also top notch, with great quantity. We had ordered veg hot&sour soup, Chicken 555 and Vijayawada special biryani, every dish tasted delicious. The service was very quick and very helpful. 100% recommend this place if you love biryanis.

Visited on a whim with a friend on Sat. Feb. 18th. We had dinner and ordered Butter Chicken and a full order of Tandoori Chicken, two masala rice and roti. It was very good. Meat was very tender and fresh; butter chicken sauce was to die for and was aromatic and had a kick. Highly recommend. South Indian food. One of the staff told us there are 6-7 other locations. The first location that opened was in Scarborough.

Not sure how it has 4.5 stars. I ordered boneless mutton biryani and noodles.Biryani was lame. It was like Bombay biryani( colored rice with pretty much dry mutton pieces). No real biryani flavors nor taste.Noodles was just ok. Noodles smelt Simi bad and taste was not great.I don't recommend these items. May be others are good hopefully.

Celebrated an event with group of 6! Authentic Hyderabdi style food. Great service. Ordered karevepaku chicken( wasn’t Upto the mark), apollo fish was outstanding! Garlic naans were great too. Lamb Rogan Josh entree was delicious. Gongura chicken needed some improvement. Vijaywada chicken biryani was good! Mutton dum Hyderabadi biryani needed more flavour ( was dry). Dessert- Rasmalai was at its best!Overall. Great food and service. Will definitely be back. Hoping they will be consistent throughout the years!

Ordered Chicken biryani and Tandoori chicken. Biryani rice was really high quakity and well cook, however the chicken pieces in the Biryani had a certain odor, either they were not cooked properly or they were stale. Tandoori chicken was well cooked, but was too spicy for our taste. Pricing was reasonable $13.5 for each dish. Biryani portion size was good for 3 people. Staff was courteous and the ambience was clean and welcoming.
