About to go into my second surgery with Dr. Starreveld. My first was to install depth electrodes, and my second will be a frontal lobe resection. Dr. Starreveld has been professional, kind, and friendly. He explains things clearly and succinctly, and takes however much time is needed to make sure your questions are answered without making you feel rushed. He came by the SMU more than once while I was being monitored to check in. I feel very lucky to have gotten him as my neurosurgeon.

Diagnosed with an Optical Chiasma Meningioma last year, was terrified! Dr. Starreveld was amazing in explaining what was going on, the treatment and options and anything that I needed. I heard he's the beat, and with Dr. Mechor, they had me come out with flying colors after surgery. Amazing person, incredible talent. Would absolutely recommend!

Just had Dr. Starreveld remove an Intercranial Epidermoid from my brain. This guy nailed it. I was out of surgery in half the anticipated time and released from hospital just two days later. You’re in good hands with this man. 6/5.
