Wide flat paved pathway through well maintained green space. Small playground for very young kids. Path loops around and is about a 5 minute walk total.Street parking only.

Great place to go for a walk alone, or with kids... dogs... etc. There is a small playground. Not 5 stars because bikes are not permited.

Be cautious, two coyotes had been seen around the the park, as a warning notice placed at the entrance by a responsible neighbour.

JR Douglas Park is a beautiful, well manicured park (in the open areas) with a paved walking path that wends its way around sections of west coast forest. A young children's play area in the center front of the 110 Street entrance is secluded from almost the entire walking path.Update March 2022 - the children's play area was updated summer 2021 to include a new play structure and a native drum for anyone to play.
