One of the best breakfast places in Winnipeg. Was little bit disappointed on the cleanliness part but the food over shadowed it. The omelette was yummy n very well made.

I have visited Falafel Place on two occasions and thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast. For a lighter fare, I suggest trying the cheese blintzes. On my second visit, I was a little more hungry and tackled the salami mix. Oh the salami was delicious. Attentive service on both occasions with pretty quick service even when busy. Busy place so you may have to wait (well worth it) Definitely recommend

Food was fantastic. Glasses were dirty and the clean replacements didn't smell that great. 5 for food, 1 for cleanliness.Update. Went again after a long hiatus. It was much cleaner this time, the food was still amazing, but the wait time to get the food was really pronounced. I'd say the 3* rating holds. Food is still a 5 tho, if you've got the time! The breakfast brisket is divine.

I didn't enjoy the food (some were greasy and salty, some were too dried) but they did give really good portions for the price. Staffs are nice and fast. This is a small family-owned restaurant so I might give them another chance to support their business and if you never try, you should come and give them a chance, I didn't like their food but you might still like it.

So where do you go to if you want a hearty breakfast, homemade jams, excellent and prompt customer service and great ambiance all at 6:30 in the morning or if you are craving a full breakfast menu at 9:00 pm - both, 7 days a week? The answer is Falafel Place. Under the new ownership this restaurant is better than ever and is thriving. We are a big family and recently visited Falafel Place (10 year old to 70 year old) - every single one of us enjoyed the experience and food alike. Many pleasant surprises awaited us during our visit (which I am sure is first of many future visits).1) The biggest pleasant surprise was that the entire menu (pictured here) was available at 6:30am! 2) for an complicated order for eight, everything came out quickly, correct and hot. 3) we are a big family but the restaurant seems to have been conceived to accommodate comfortably several larger groups all at once. 4) the space is decorated beautifully, is bright and clean. 5) the owner Jarrett himself took our order, served us and checked in from time to time to ensure we know we were looked after.Food was fresh, delicious and servings large. Falafel platter was my favorite although with a menu as big as their’s it is hard to pick one item.Highly recommended and an absolute must try!If this review helped you in any way, please click Like below.

“It was okay.” Was the consensus for each of our party for breakfast. I like that it’s local. Potato Pancakes are great as is the house hot sauce.Welcome Service is good but turned mediocre after food arrived. Coffee cups are very small- only got a half-cup refill and they never came back or checked in after food arrived.Eggs and bacon were blackened- presumably from a dirty grill with burned grease. Bacon was very dried out. Almost as if it were precooked and put back on the grill. Falafel Balls were good but are much smaller than their early days.Water tastes odd-like well water. No ice. They don’t give you an itemized receipt-only the total owed at the til.

I haven’t been here in probably close to 20 years. Will not be waiting that long to go again, it’s fantastic!! The food is delicious. Prices are very reasonable with large portions. Our food came out very fast and it was hot and fresh upon arrival. Friendly staff and busy right up to closing. Go early, they close at 2 pm. I can’t wait to go back again. The yam hash mix with the Vegan Heaven Breakfast is to die for!!

My wife and I recently revisited The Falafel Place after years of being away, and we were delighted to find that it still retains its fantastic charm. We both opted for the falafel breakfast, and it was an absolute delight for our taste buds. The falafel itself was flavorful, crispy on the outside, and perfectly seasoned on the inside. It was a satisfying and unique twist on a traditional breakfast, and it instantly became one of my favorite breakfast options. One aspect that impressed us during our visit was the impeccable service. The staff at The Falafel Place were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a positive dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and promptly seated. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu, and they happily answered our questions and provided recommendations. The efficient service added to the overall enjoyment of our meal.Overall, our recent visit to The Falafel Place exceeded our already high expectations. The falafel breakfast was a standout dish that we can't wait to have again. Coupled with the great service and cozy atmosphere, this restaurant has solidified its place as one of our favourite breakfast spots. Whether you're a falafel enthusiast or simply looking for a unique and satisfying breakfast experience, I highly recommend giving The Falafel Place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Had breakfast here for the 1st time as we are craving for middle eastern food. Their shawarma was phenomenal and my wife liked their steak and eggs. I also had Falafel breakfast which i just find very salty for our taste buds, but the briwns and eggs are awesome. It was great all in all and we will definitely come back abd brong some friends.
