We love staying at The Little Inn. The rooms are unique, spacious, charming and clean.Our hostess was very personable and helpful. The dining room and bar have a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

The Little Inn of Bayfield
Efficient, informed, caring and friendly staff. Excellent food and excellent service. Very comfortable rooms. If You're expecting The King Edward... choose a different town (or stay in the big smoke). There's no downside to this inn. All the restaurants up and down the main street are super. One walks up and looks at the menu posted outside any of the eateries, tummy decides and it's guaranteed to be good. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets defy description. My girlfriend and I were so impressed that we booked the next visit for next month (my birthday) upon checkout. I've been all over the Caribbean and Mediterranean - the blue hue of the water here and the sun sets rival any I've ever seen. Two thumbs way up!

This is a nice boutique hotel with good service. Rooms were clean and modern and the staff were friendly. If I was the designer I would have picked different wallpaper.

Lovely quaint inn with nice comfortable rooms. Unfortunately our dinner and breakfast experience was not good as food was not hot, dining room was uncomfortably cool and food was just ok. Would recommend dining elsewhere.

The Little Inn of Bayfield
Front staff not very friendly or overly welcoming upon arrival. However, dining staff was exceptional and food was absolutely phenomenal! Would definitely be back to eat.As for the room very basic, the tub jets and faucet did not work. Paid extra for the balcony but furniture was not wiped down nor was the deck even swept. Overall the place was cute but kind of overpriced for what we got. Told them it was a getaway for daughters birthday and nothing special was done.

Obviously to many, this is a charming and quaint older inn in a extremely charming village. Staff was friendly. We had asked for a main floor room due to recent hip surgery and were assigned room #2. The room was fine however while we cannot speak for other rooms, this particular room must be too far from the central air unit as on the hot day if our visit, there was barely an occasional wisp if cooler air from the vents. Overall, good visit...but don't recommend this room on a hot summer day. If all rooms got this level of air conditioning, this is not the place to stay in the heat of summer.

My wife and I spent the night at the Little Inn some 36 years after spending our wedding night there. It was all perfect. Room was cozy, clean and quiet and up to date. Comfy bed. Staff was wonderful and very helpful.

The Little Inn of Bayfield
Needed a quiet get away from the hectic pace of everyday life in the States. Within a 2.5 hr. drive from Bloomfield Hills, life changed, and my wife and I were sipping drinks on the front porch of this quaint boutique hotel, overlooking the laid-back bustle of main street in the center of this adorable heritage town of Bayfield Ontario. This over a 150-year-old hotel with all the modern amenities, is a well-kept secret. Rooms are all different with their own character and the food service was excellent at the direction of an engaged chef! An impressive wine list with some good French Bordeaux’s as well as wines from Chile, California, New Zealand, and Ontario. As with all hotel properties these days, the pandemic has had an effect, but the energetic staff has powered through the challenges to make our stay comfortable and memorable during these halcyon days of late summer. We will return next year, Bloomfield Hills, MI
