Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal

I cannot believe I am about to say this, but....great experience given the circumstances. They are super thorough and diligent about sanitary measures as you enter, the staff was extremely friendly (my French sucks, so they didn't have any issues with that), and most importantly....you get your results in less than 2 hours!!! And since I hate waiting.....I was in and out in less than 30 minutes....this includes the entire process!

Great staff, friendly, safely operated and with with such professionalism. My 86 yr old father was waiting in line, in the cold,barely being able to stand. A security guard brought a wheel chair and took charge of the situation. They treat people like family. They deserve 5 stars.

Went for a test this morning (Thursday) at 8am. No line up and I spent about a total of 15 minutes in the Center. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. No reservation needed and just bring a piece of ID (I don't have RAMQ). Results will come out by latest in 3 days.Edit: Result (NEGATIVE) came out 24 hours after the test.

I arrived at 8:30 on a wednesday and by 8:50 I was on my way home. The staff was really nice and helpful and I felt safe every step of the way. It was a huge relief since it was my first time taking the test, which, as it turns out, is very quick and tolerable.

My husband and I have been tested twice and both times we went here. The first time there was no line and the second time there was a small line but it was super quick both times. Everyone inside was so kind and polite and it was a very positive experience. We spoke English and had zero issues. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. Parking on site. Very safe and great staff.

I'll give an honest review on my recent visit to this Covid-19 testing center. First, the process was quick, the questions were easy to understand and there were many staff on site. Once completing a quick verbal questionnaire you're moved into an elevator, then up to the second floor where they'll collect your medical and contact information, from there you'll move to a testing zone and be test using both the back of the throat and nose method. Unfortunately the hospital it self was a small space and the flow people was not in a single direction. You had people who have completed their test very very close to people who are new. Also the distance from person to person was quite low. I felt at risk just being tested and there was no drive through available, which I would have preferred.

What they don't tell you is they do NOT take walk ins anymore!!! You have to go at 9 am and get a ticket with a time on it and then go back again!!! Total craziness. They should update their site. Walk in means walk in. Not come and get a paper and come back. We went at 11 am this morning and were told to make an appointment online. My appointment is for the 24th. Does this make sense to anyone?

COVID testing is always a downer, but this place makes it easy. Kudos to all the workers who were polite, even though it's the patients who are not in the best state of mind.The free parking is awesomely convenient (only a valet could make it better heheh). I've always gotten results back in less than 8 hours (I have kids and frequent testing is a reality).I've been to the Glenn Hospital, too, but parking there is a hassle, and they're not always open when they say (I had to queue there twice). It would not bad if you went by metro, but if you need a test that is a no-no. Today, there was a bit of a line (we had no rendezvous), but we're at the start of the 4th wave in Montreal.

Actually pretty good! Everyone spoke English and the whole process (including registration) takes about 30 minutes.
