Not only did the guy answer all of my calls while at home with his children, he made sure to cater to the highly unconventional demands I presented to him. I highly recommend this company they're willing to work with whatever is thrown at them and keep the prices respectable. Thanks to the team who helped me out!

A friend recommended Moving On Up to my husband and I, so we booked a moving truck and crew to help with the move from our 2 bedroom condominium into our new house. The guys were friendly and personable when they arrived. They worked quickly and efficiently, all while still handling our furniture with care; even navigating through a particularly tight hallway in the condo. I was really impressed on the quality of service they provided and will definitely use them again for future moves.

I just used these guys today and I am so glad I did!! I have moved around 20 times in my life and this is the first time I decided to use a moving service. I was definitely nervous to leave it in someone else's hands, but I have to say these guys were professional, fast, and careful to put blankets on the future I cared about most. Everything went smoothly and this was definitely worth every penny!!Thank you to the crew who worked their butts off in 30 degree weather without complaint, you guys were great!

I had a great experience with Moving on up when I moved from Victoria to Vancouver in June 2016. I was very careful choosing the movers because I have had some bad experiences with moving companies. With Moving on up, I had no headache at all and the price I paid was pretty reasonable. I will definitely use this company again next time I move.

Booked a move from Victoria to the Mainland, they were responsive, quick, efficient and packed the items well. Don't know if I'll need them again for a Victoria move anytime soon, but would recommend them to anyone.

They are over an hour late. No calls and can't get a hold of them.

We had a local, highly rated mover booked to move my family of 5 from a 2 story 3 bedroom house to a larger new house at the end of June. 2 days prior to the move, i called to confirm with the mover to say that we got possession of our new house early, so if they wanted to start sooner, they could. they flat out said that we were not confirmed and there was nothing they could do for us. 2 days before the end of June - one of the busiest move times of the year - just like that we were left w/o a mover! I was shocked after they confirmed with me 3 weeks earlier and told me not to worry about it.After frantically calling a number of movers who basically said they were booked solid, i got a hold of Moving on Up at the recommendation of a friend. I spoke with Vijay, the owner and explained to him the bind that i was in and he said give me an hour or two, but i'm pretty sure i can help you out. He called an hour later and said he was able to round-up a crew and he would be there the next day. He showed up on time with 2 trucks and a crew of 5! It was a hot day and his crew worked their butts off loading the 2 trucks. they barely took any breaks and worked right thru the day disassembling furniture and loading the trucks. our new house is a 3 story house and was quite the task to move all the stuff up / down the stairs. they did it all with a smile and reassembled our furniture (mainly beds) so we had a place to sleep that night. in short, these guys were amazing and it was also nice to see Vijay the owner getting his hands dirty and working just as hard as his crew, if not harder to get everything done!best of all, on such short notice with the move taking longer than expected, i fully expected to pay a premium. when we received the bill, it was actually very reasonable for 3 truck loads (2 being a 5 tonne truck!) and almost 2 days of moving with a full crew! these guys were great and i'd have no problem recommending them to anyone who wants to move!
