WELL Health - Kerrisdale Medical Clinic

I wasn't able to see my family doctor because of a skin infection caused by a mosquito bite. Luckily, I was able to get an appointment here. Although I had some reservations about this clinic based on some negative Google reviews, I gave them a five star rating after my visit. Upon arrival, the receptionist efficiently checked me in and I only waited 20 minutes before Dr. Kevin Nolan saw me. He was friendly and chatty with me, despite how busy it was. In the waiting room, I saw a nurse named Donald helping a weak old lady patient walk, which really warmed my heart, especially with the pandemic keeping everybody apart. After leaving the clinic, I received a text message asking for my feedback. This makes me think that the owner of the clinic really cares about its patients, and I hope they keep up the good work.

The doctor was over 30 minutes late for my virtual appointment. I understand that this is normal, however he was extremely rude when he picked up the phone. He did not introduce himself, I had no idea which doctor I was talking to, I didn't even know he was the doctor at the time I picked up the phone. There was no apology for the late appointment. Ended the call with That's not so hard is it?""

Much satisfied. Went in at 10 am on a thursday as new patient. I was able to fill out the form and quickly meet the walk in physician. She resolved my issues with no hassles and was very friendly. Even provided me with requisitions for blood work that I much needed. Thanks for the good work!

Would be 1 star, but the receptionists were nice and I wasn't waiting long for my appointment, less than a few minutes.The doctor however, absolutely terrible. I've never felt less important, less seen, less looked after...I explained a few issues in under 3 minutes. She didn't ask a single question or show any sympathy. I mentioned breast pain (as a 35y/o woman) and she didn't even address it nor feel for lumps. I was not seen or heard. Within 2 minutes she handed me a piece of paper to get blood work done and left the room. I didn't even get her name. She spoke less than 2 sentences total to me.I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated and now have to go see another doctor next week.

Very nice staff. Easy to get into and very accommodating. Most days the wait isn’t that long either. I’ve waited in doctors offices for hours for a walk in and was able to book an appointment here 24 hours in advance. I have found my new doctors office.

My experience differs from a lot of the negative reviews here: I made an appointment online and only had to wait 2-3 minutes after arrival to see the doctor - however, the waiting room was practically empty. The receptionist was very friendly, and the doctor seemed very knowledgeable and kind and put me at ease. I feel the treatment plan we made for the issue I’m experiencing is one I’m confident in.

I was slightly concerned by the reviews but didn’t have any other options. I went in in the morning without an appointment, filled up the new patient form and saw a doctor within 5 minutes. The doctor was knowledgeable and took great care of me. The clinic is clean and staff are very nice. Thank you WELL health! I won’t hesitate to go back should I ever have a medical concern that needs immediate assistance.

I woke up and booked an appointment the same day using their website. My appointment was at 11:30 and the doctor saw me at 11:35.Doctor Khan was young, bright, articulate and did an examination, printed out a requisition and had me on my way in a matter of minutes.I was thrilled with the service I received and am so grateful to have access to a top quality doctor knowing what a privilege it is with the current doctor shortage in Canada.

I had a bad infection and was very ill for almost a month, after being dismissed by a doctor at another clinic and sent home with no treatment, I was able to make a next day appointment at Kerrisdale Medical. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful both on the phone and in-person, I was barely waiting 2 mins and I saw the Doctor right away. Dr. Henderson was very thorough and showed great care. He sent me for an x-ray, put me on treatment and also followed up with me a week later when I was finished the medication to check in over the phone. Very rare to get care like that from any of the clinics in Vancouver and I'm very grateful for that. Great clinic and great Doctor, would highly recommend!

I was able to book on line last night for an appt today. The catch is they need you to visit in person with your card first (I happen to be in their system already from a long time ago so I didn’t have to do this). But I highly recommend them.Excellent doctor! Also thrilled they weren’t too busy when I was there and they didn’t keep me waiting. And parking is easy in that area.Amazing experience in this day and age of very hard to find walk-in type clinics.
