Here is an edit July 9, 2019.I showed up very close to closing and needed a new rear wheel for my mountain bike. Mike the mechanic immediately understood that my situation was a bit urgent and he decided to stay late and build me a new wheel.The service was above and beyond what one would expect. The construction of the wheel was perfect. The price was fair considering the circumstance. Actually the price was absolutely fair in any circumstance.Ubac is a bike store in the summertime and a ski store in the winter time. it is not quite accurate to call it a sporting good store for an English audience.Excellent bike shop. Great selection of clothing and helmets.

Super happy with the service we received. We broke a shock pivot bolt on a Trek Slash and wandered in just before closing. They were very helpful and got us going the next day for a very reasonable price. Very happy with the service and will visit again when we are in Bromont!

My first interaction came in September 2020 when I bought my first bike in about 50 years! The sales man was very knowledgeable and quite patient with me. He considered my needs and recommended a bike that is perfect for me. Yesterday a kind fellow in the repair department, reattached my chain ring (I had put it back on incorrectly after falling into a ditch), filled the tires to the correct pressure & did all that in about 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend them.

Would not recommend this place. This shop is a ski and bike store. I arrived on my mountain bike, waited 10 minutes for one of the 3 store members to finally notice me at the door (they have a rope at the door an you need to be invited in during Covid times which is fine).. the store was empty.. they saw me but continued to just stock skis instead. Finally a lady arrives. I tell her I want to buy bike shoe winter covers. She says she has something in stock, but directs me to leave my bike out front... my $7,000 bike. I tell her its not an option, she tells me she wont let me and my bike in the store (first time in my LIFE I hear about a bike store not letting a bike in the store). I ask her how they service bikes if they cant bring bikes in the store.. she respond.. if you need a service you can bring you bike in.. if not leave it out front... so basically i was told to go away.. SO, i went to Pitt Stop Velo

Very nice shop! Was there on vacation. I managed to break a rear axle, derailler and shifter and they had the parts on hand and were very keen to help and give advice since I was going to make the repairs myself. I recommend to everyone!

Would not recommend getting any bike work done here. The shop has lots of parts in stock and was quick to help but after taking a closer look at my bike the work quality was terrible. Was on holidays riding bromont from out of town. I had this shop build me a set of wheels, the front wheel fell apart after 3 run at bromont. Witch they rebuilt when I brought it back and now both the front and rear wheel have spokes constantly coming loose. Also had the shop install brake pads front and back. Upon closer inspection after taking a crash because I completely lost my rear brake. I discovered that the shop cracked both my sram guide rs brake calipers by over tightening the brake pad retaining pin.

Busted binding - day was about to be ruined - dropped in without notice and atelier saved the day in 20 mins thanks to being well stocked with parts and savvy.

Very disappointed in the service. My son who is on the local race team in Bromont had a problem with one of his bindings. I took it in and they (3 'techs' behind the counter) told me it could not be repaired and pressured me to buy new bindings. I took my skis to the shop down the road, they fixed the bindings in 10 minutes for $20. Guess which shop now has my business!!
