Green Park Campground
Best campground, right on the water (so if its windy, not ideal) but luckily it wasn't very windy. Beautiful views. Staff were friendly and facilities were clean. Would highly recommend.

Just spent two nights at Green Park Campground with the kids. This is one of the best camping experiences we have ever had. Our sites were right on the water with access straight to the beach but still had trees for some shade.Washrooms were close by and clean and staff were around and very nice. There was a blow up water slide, trampoline, and basket ball set up, as well as chocolate bar bingo in the evening for the kids. (I think there was a movie night too but a different day)The kids had a great time and were entertained all day and night with park activities, the Yeo house museum, swimming, kayaking, campfires, smores and guitars.A well rounded camping trip had by all and we already have a site booked for next time.

Didn't stay here, but beautiful. If I lived close to this spot, I would be there as often as possible.

Camped here for 2-3 weeks a year. (Except during Covid)Dog friendly. Kid friendly. They have tent/2way/3way sites and some one-room cabins with a bunk bed.The park is normally quiet. Lots of campfires in the evening.Note: The Park is busy and noisy during the Rock-the-Boat music festival weekend.New for 2022.... free Wi-Fi. Good speeds... 50Meg down.

We arrived later in the evening (around 9pm) and called in. The owner didn't really tell us where to go so we just sort of picked a spot.. We didn't see any employees all weekend we were there and wonder if it was even worth paying for?The bathrooms were dirty most of the weekend as well. The campsite was nice, noisy neighbor complaint was handled efficiently, and the grounds around were great too.We would likely camp here again.

It looked very nice, but I think all camp sites are too close together.

Beautiful sites overlooking the water. Went end of August. Windy so no bugs. Sunsets were unreal. Long shallow beach to walk along and clean facilities.

Stayed for 3 nights in cabin #12 which has the water view. Included bunk bed + couch + power. Very much enjoyed! Super cozy and relaxing!Pros: beautiful sunset view, beach right infront of cabin, 2 power outlets, mini fridge, toaster, kurig coffee machine, couch, blinds, inside light plus outside light, picnic table+fire pit, close bathrooms+showers, close clean drinking water, big grass space, playground (on camper side of park), activities at end of each week (posted on bathroom doors)Cons: shallow beach, lots of broken shells and rocks (bring water shoes and floaties), some noise past 11pm from RV campers, garbage on site when arrived, not close to other beaches or grocery stores, no information provided about cabin before arrival, very little information on website

We were at Green Park Campground for two night and had a great experience! Large, private RV and tent spots, clean showers and washrooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived they took the time to show us some spots on the campground that we could choose from. We picked out a lovely (2 way) spot near the water (bring your SUP or kayak!). You can be right next to the water if you have a tent or camper van I think. They organize lots of fun things for kids, there was a hotdog party, a huge water slide (inflatable), that the kids loved. They organized lots more too. Kids loved biking around the large grassy field. There’s a big trampoline as well near the 3-way sites.Wood for the fire is free and you can use the wood splitter yourself (which is a fun experience if you’ve never done that :)). There were definitely some mosquitos, but nothing too bad, we did use deet and deet-free spray and that worked fine. Would definitely recommend this campground!

Wonderful place to camp. Staff are friendly. Mosquitos are not an issue. I have found a nice place to camp close to home.
