Great place to bring the whole family. Clean modern toilets . They have various rides for the kids , I was impressed with the ride that allows handicap kids to ride it , that is wonderful. Great green space . Our grandkids like it there . There are picnic tables there .

This is a quaint and fairly quiet park that sits in the north western part of Stony Plain. There is a paved walking/biking trail that goes around the circumference of the park. Park has 2 bridges, picnic benches, a gazebo.....a children's play area and public washroom facilities are also on site. This park has lighting. What I like about this park is that the town of Stony Plain goes all out in the winter months( especially for christmas) where it gets decorated with all sorts of outdoor Christmas decor with most of it being led lit. There is also a skating area that is partioned off in the south end of the park. It's a winding river like skating trail that also is lit for night skating. It's constantly maintained and cleared of snow when it does snow. There are also temporary bench sitting areas to just sit and watch or when you want to put your skates on. This is a great winter addition for families. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars for this place is because the water spout/fountain that used to be in the pond is no longer there. At least I haven't seen it yet as of the date of this review. I don't know what happened with it or why it hasn't been there this year yet but that was a major focal point of the pond and park in general. Bring it back and this place will get 5 stars from me.UPDATE: I noticed that the fountain is now operating again. Noticed this yesterday( July 16/2022). So as previously mentioned I now give 5 stars up from 4. I don't know why it took so long aswe are now 1/3 the way through the summer but I guess that it's better later than never.

We always enjoy this park. The kids enjoy both the playground and the walkway. I noticed on our last visit that the bridge had been repaired, so I can push my stroller up it.

Up visiting family in Lac Ste. Anne but went into Stony for some business. We stopped at Rotary Park and had a great time. There is a fantastic playground area. It is so awesome, teachers bring their classes for outings. It was fairly busy when we were there but the older kids kept to the bigger slides and ladders while my young nieces played on the smaller ones. The equipment is well labelled for age appropriateness. There was also a great mini zip-line. It is safe for kids from about 3 on. I took it for a spin myself. Once was enough though. There were lots of picnic tables for eaters. And benches for sitters. We did not go any further than that today. It was tons of fun and we will be back another day, weather permitting.

Cute park close to Tim Hortons for a walk and coffee. Cute loop, didn't explore enough to see if there were other trails but it's super cute here. Someone mentioned that it's lit up as a skating park in the winter?

Beautiful. You can walk around the pond, watch the ducks, outdoor playground equipment for kids. A nice walking path and a couple of bridges. Outdoor benches and tables to sit and enjoy your lunch. Free parking.

October 8, 2021 returned with the parents on a beautiful fall day and enjoyed our time here.Lovely park to visit. It’s on the small side but that’s okay it is a really nice walk wind the paved path. There is a nice bridge. It takes about 15 minutes to walk around. There is an awesome children’s playground here also, picnic benches and a gazebo A relaxing stroll and places to rest and visit. There are public washrooms available that are clean and well lit. The Stony Plain Visitor Centre is here also.

Love this park for so many reasons. In winter time, the leisure ice is amazing - it's in better shape this year than it was last year for sure. The lights at night are great. Also love this park the rest of the year for the playground. My kids love it, there's lots of picnic tables and benches to sit on and even some shaded spots. I also enjoy the path around the pond. Nice popular area for people to hang out - definitely recommend!
