Tyndall Firewood Supply

We took our two kids to visit the tiny houses at Tyndall Firewood on highway 44, about 20-30 minutes north east of Winnipeg, we were there to purchase an 8x12 foot shed for husband/dad to create his own backyard workshop. The people there were very kind to all of us and let us explore on our own. There’s a couple small office cabins and inside one is a gallery of all different sizes of beautiful wood statue carvings as well as some gorgeous metal firepits. My 33 month old loved seeing all the animal carvings and the young person in there was very friendly and kind to converse with my little one as was the person who was helping my husband with the shed paperwork to not mind my youngest’s exploring everything around her office. They delivered the shed on time without any delays or issues and placed it perfectly despite a very bad weather day in April with rain and high winds, but the person that was doing the drop off said it was nothing! We are very pleased with our experience and would absolutely recommend their services or even just stopping in for a visit to let your kids see the heavy machinery at work hauling the timber and checking out the sculptures!

What a wonderful group of people. We stopped in for a load of wood to donate to a charity from a community organization I volunteer with. We had a budget in mind and when we stopped in to pay for the load we chatted with the owner and we was excited about the project and topped up the load. When I say topped up I mean big time! We had a dump trailer and himself and the loader operator got up in the trailer three times to position the wood to get more in.On behalf of the Point Douglas Residents Committee we thank you for helping in your donation towards 'heating the homeless'. We were donating wood at Thunderbird House during the cold snap we had this winter. A project Anishative organized that helped many of Winnipegs at risk people stay warm instead of being cold in -30+ temperatures.Thanks again!

Excellent company to buy all your firewood needs from and more! Professional, state of the art equipment. Wood is perfectly cut and aged and easy to stack. Driver arrives on time, extremely friendly demeanor. All wood that we have bought has been high quality and perfectly seasoned and cut. Competitively priced. No complaints. Would highly recommend them and will buy again.

I am beyond grateful for the friendly customer services and quality of product (wood) that I get from Tyndall Firewood . The guys that work on the lot and deliver my fire wood are very helpful , know what they are doing and always go over and beyond to help me out when I come to the wood lot to get wood. When I place an order for delivery the staff always tell me when to expect the load and they always work with me to where I would like the load to be it dumped in my yard. I find the prices to be fair and reasonable . I also like the fact that this is a local run business and I enjoy seeing them out at the local community events. I will continue to buy my wood form them as well as recommend Tyndall firewood to my family, friends and co workers .

While I haven't purchased any wood yet, they were super friendly and answered all of my questions. They have beautiful wood carvings and artwork in their store for very reasonable prices. A good local business with great customer service.

I have been purchasing firewood from Tyndall Firewood for the past 4+ years. The pricing is fair considering they offer multiple types of firewood from Birch to Pine and everything in between. Not every firewood seller offers this. You can buy by cord, half cord etc. The wood is split and sized to 18

Phoned in advance to set up time to pick up a truck load of seasoned poplar...was told it was available. Picked er up stacked it at home went to burn it and discovered it was freshly cut and mixed with partially seasoned...long story short, wouldn’t burn, wasted 4 hours of my time, and over 110.00... at the end of the day still had no burnable wood.

Great service, friendly group, but the pine I bought is expensive and only half was ready to burn. He did say that there was a little bit that might not be fully seasoned yet but I expected a few pieces here and there... Not half the cord I bought. My own mistake in not knowing what I was buying I suppose. I'll spend the extra few bucks in gas and buy from Blumenort next time for wood that's 1/2 the price.

An affordable mulch option for large outdoor garden projects We purchased 2 large bales for my country garden. Friendly staff. Great service. We will be returning to purchase more mulch in the future. Nice to see a successful small town business.
