Amazing staff!! A staff had spent literally 15 minutes to look for best shoes for me seriously, and they have a lot of kind of climbing shoes from moderate to aggressive. I strongly recommend here!!

Great selection of items and a great gym. However, I am really dissatisfied with the communication between staff and customer. I came to Climb Smart to try on and buy some rock climbing shoes, which was a 1.5hour commute. Before leaving I called the gym to double check that their shop opening times corresponded with those online (9am-9pm) and nobody picked up. I also tried to communicate this through the online chat via the website. The response was not prompt at all and later in the evening (I did not see this message) notified me that they would be closing the shop at 7pm. I arrived at the shop before 7 anyways and was told that the shop was not open for trying on shoes, which I needed to do because this is my first pair. I was incredibly frustrated as all information online says that the shop closes at 9pm and the communication from the store was inadequate. If the opening times for the store front are not aligned with those of the gym, that should be posted or changed, especially if the store will be adjusting them day by day. This is one of the only stores in Toronto selling rock climbing equipment, it should recognize that people will be spending time to commute on weekends and better communicate the store times so that people don't waste their time.

Had an amazing experience at this store today, all thanks to Lydia! She was super patient and genuinely happy to help me find the perfect fit. Her positive vibes made the whole process of trying on many different shoes and sizes enjoyable.I also found this store to have a better selection of shoes and sizes than MEC or SAIL. Big thanks to Lydia and the Climb Smart store for such a great experience!Update: I had to exchange my shoes for a different pair today. Uyen helped me try on more pairs in different sizes and I left with a perfect fit. Thanks so much to Lydia and Uyen for such a great experience! I'll definitely be back next time I need shoes!

Love it. They always have gear that are sold out at mec or other stores.

Staff was very helpful in helping me with my new shoe purchase! Definitely a store that cares more about their customers instead of making money. Highly recommend them!
