Referred from a pharmaprix chain in VSL. Companies first question was if I had insurance, estimate for blood work was 617$. Called another pharmaprix in DDO sent the same form and stated it would be 25$. When I advised this company that it would be 25$ , thr company stated they can process the test for 50$.Please take caution when private clinics are advising you of prices .... 617$ is unacceptable.

I want to give 50 stars if I can! They literally made me cry.I met « a real doctor and a real nurse » for the first time in 4 years since I lived in Montreal. No, I mean.. in my entire life..The great of people who would have taken the Hippocratic Oath and the Nightingale Oath seriously.I have always had difficulty living here as a foreigner and seeing a doctor when necessary.When my daughter was 3 years old and had a fever of 40c for few days and went to the emergency room, they made me to pay nearly $1000 in advance for her to see a doctor because we were foreigners, and some hospitals required me to pay even that « in cash only ». I didn’t have a family doctor or a Maladie card, so they were afraid I won't be able to pay after the medical treatment.Since the outbreak of COVID-19, it’s getting worse.. walk-in clinics haven’t even allowed my sick daughter to go inside the clinics. I've been waiting in line in front of the clinic holding a sick daughter’s hand since 6 in the morning and eventually just coming home. Because if we don’t have family doctor there, we can’t see any doctor. That’s what they said.. and they just gave me other clinic’s name. And, you know, things weren't that different at other clinics.However, these two were so kind from beginning to end, I felt they were genuinely worried and trying to help me.Today is the most impressive day I've ever lived here for 4 years. Thanks to Dr Mehrdad Razmpoosh. And I'm really sorry, nurse… I don't remember her name. But I will never forget her kind face and voice..It's not good to go to the clinic, but I want to see you again.
