It's probably the most expensive mexican restaurant in Vancouver. The food is very authentic, however uninspiringly pretty good. The atmosphere is rustic and charming, and there are a lot of people speaking Spanish, which probably means I am missing the finer points of this place. I guess I am more of a tacofino kind of guy, which is right around the corner. Unfortunately, I can not recommend any of the menus items I tried.Also, the service was just average but pleasant. We have to get up to ask for things we need twice.

The most amazing Chilaquiles that you can find Downtown!! The portion is more than excellent, and the service is warm and fast.If you wanna try chilaquiles for the first time, you can order the Chipotle ones! And don't forget to order a cafe de Olla as well!

I can’t stop thinking about chicken fajitas after trying them here at La Casita, the sides are all great, and the chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and freshly cooked. It is expensive but it lasts 2 meals. Also the service is basically absent to barely existent but I personally like that because I’m just there to eat! (Thus the 5 star rating, solely based on food). You have to try La Casita!

We tried this spot tonight for the first time. It was Taco Tuesday so the tacos were on for $4 each. We tried a selection of them and they were delicious. Very fresh!We also tried the nachos and jalapeno poppers. The nachos had toppings on every bite (nacho fans will know how important this is haha) and the poppers were perfect.The service was wonderful. Friendly and charismatic staff!We also had some margaritas (mango and strawberry.)10/10 would recommend this spot.Date spot or a night out with friends, the atmosphere suits any occasion.

I got the enchilada plate and Jamaica drink and loved both. I think pricing is at par with other restaurants but the food is more authentic and my plate was a big portion. The staff is great, the food is great, and I would definitely come back.

The Food here is really good! I ordered the guacamole with two salsas (cilantro jalapeño crema and fire roasted peppers) as well as the medium Al pastor tacos. The drink is a mango mezcalita, which was good but could use a little more salt and tajin mixed in. Just tasted a little bland is all.

Great Mexican spot in Gastown. I lived abroad in central Mexico for years and can say this is the best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico. Everything delivered, including the staff, the music, and the food of course.I had chicken mole enchiladas and they really brought me back. The margs were great as well.Pics are only of the restaurants downstairs, the upstairs is a different vibe and also quite nice

We stopped in on Cinco de Mayo for a Margarita. The margaritas were very good and the chips and salsa were delicious. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant feels like your neighborhood restaurant and you feel at home no matter where you sit. I would come back any time in Vancouver for a margarita, chips, and salsa.

I've eaten there a lot but mostly because it was close to my house. The food is pretty middle of the road Mexican food. Their prices were a bit more down to earth than some of the fancy Mexican places so it was an ideal lunch spot. I always just get the special of the day since it tended to be the best value and often one of the best things on the menu. The service is great and its a cute place. Lately it seems like less good value though which was for me one of the main draws.
