Staff is really helpful, they are not too pushy. Great selection of winter coats and other sports apparel. Awesome assortment of camping gear. All-around great outdoors store. Prices are a little high, but the quality makes up for it. You can get lost in here for hours

Big market with huge variety of supplies, you can buy anything here for outdoor sports. But wait time is too long buying rifles here.

Went here to look at tents for camping. They had all of them set up and out on the showroom floor. This allowed us to get inside and try them out but also see the quality of the materials used. With about 30 tents you have a good selection to choose from. We also picked up some other camping supplies like stakes, firestarter, picnic table cover and a fire pit cooking grate. My only complaint is some things show the sale price after 30% off and some don't so it's a bit confusing to know what the final price is.

This place is great. Had a great selection on kayaks even the one i was looking for. Chris in the kayak department was very friendly and helpful thanks. Bought some ammo as well and the young man behind the counter was very helpful and friendly too.sorry i didnt get his name. Over all great place to shop. Customer service here is great. Night and day to the service you get at bass pro.

Friendly staff and very good selection of outdoor products

Just stopped into the store, since I was without my family and I had some time to spare. This store does have a great selection of products and the pricing seems to be in line with other retailers (likely because many establish MAP policies). Anyways, I was looking for two things... one was a new, small, lightweight sleeping pad for this year and a waterproof canoeing backpack.I was able to find a specific pad that I liked in the display area, however, neither myself or the associate could locate it. The store staff member, although he mentioned he was fairly new, didn’t seem to be able to locate it nor had any real idea of where it might be. I too couldn’t find it so possibly it’s not yet available (being pre-season). That leads to confusion and it’s kind of unfortunate.He inquired if there was anything else I was interested in and I brought up the backpack. Although there was not a display I was referencing, we could not locate any large watertight backpacks that had a harness system for use canoeing. I asked about barrel packs, but again he seemed very confused and had no idea where they would be. He left looking for a team leader that might have been able to provide greater assistance, however when he returned he was unable to locate one. He again left to search, but after almost 10 mins of waiting and looking I decided to leave.I don’t believe a barrel pack is that rare to know it’s location. Heck they are large blue barrels. Again, it may have been possible that with it being before the season they don’t yet have them, but with canoe’s hitting the waterways soon, I’d think they should be there by now.

I drove around forever looking exactly for this shop. Very happy to find it. A great associat helped me choose a tent. She even helped me put it up to see if the two person one was big enough!! Great outdoors store.

Friendly staff, simple shopping experience, reasonable prices... It's a nice, big store with great selection on pretty much anything for outdoor activities!

I've shopped here a few times. They had a good end of season sale on winter coats so we got one at a great price for our son for next year.The staff in their fishing section are really knowledgeable and helped me with a purchase. They don't appear to be on commission, which is great; I'd gone in with a budget and rod in mind, but staff directed me to one that was better for the type of fishing I'm doing, and cost a little less.They also have a good selection of Okuma rods (the brand I use). I'd had trouble finding them elsewhere in Canada, so I was quite pleased finding them at Sail.

It's got a lot of everything at fair prices. Off season items are sometimes 50% cheaper. Staff are friendly.
