If I could give less stars, I would.They take my account fees reliably, but I haven't been able to use any kind of online banking in at least 2 years. I've called, gone in to multiple locations on multiple occasions and it never gets fixed. They tell me someone will call me. This time we're going on months of waiting to hear from them, all the while the fees keep coming out on time, every time... I plan to switch, but with 3 kids and a crazy job, I keep putting it off.I would not recommend ACU to my worst enemy.

Their app regularly won’t open or function at all so you can’t use online bankingHold limits are 7 days even for cash at your own Home branches ATM. Which is about 6-7 days longer than most banks. But some do hold onto it a for a few days.When you call for customer service they have people who can barely speak English so you get the same service you’d get with a robot. A handful of basic repeated answers and nothing more. They might as well just have an automated response centre. That’s all the people answering can provide you withAlso:Waited for a bus once after depositing money in middle of winter and within 10 minutes this violently loud alarm started blaring telling me the areas for bank members and people using the atm only, of which I am both?About one more mistake or poor customer service experience away from standing out front with a sign warning people what this bank is really like. It’s a bank posing as a credit union.

I have been dealing with Assiniboine credit since they bought out theout the Hy Line CU nearly 20 years ago.I can't believe how bad your customer service have become in such ashort period. I do not live in Winnipeg and count on my computer andphone for most on line services.I cannot contact the branch i deal with and speak to a person.I am always put on hold with the ONLY PHONE NUMBER for 18branches and forced to listen awful chamber music.Have been locked out of my account for 3 days because youaren't available on weekends.I could go on and on but needless to say I will be transferring mybusiness to a better operated Credit Union.

Went here recently to switch over a few things with my account. Earlier in the month I dealt with a young lady who didn't end up doing things correctly. Came back here the other day to figure out what happened and to get everything resolved. I dealt with Nathan. As soon as I entered the branch, he greeted me immediately. He was polite and professional. When I asked him questions, he asked his Branch Manager to confirm, to ensure I was provided the correct information. He apologized on behalf of ACU for the errors. He was thorough in finding out exactly what happened and kept his word when he said he would contact me to keep me in the loop. He ended up getting everything resolved for me within 1 business day. His service was outstanding. For this reason, I will keep coming back to this branch.

Mackenzie the mortgage specialist was great. She helped me buy my first home and provided an amazing service. She was supportive and had patience while I wrapped my head around understanding mortgages and the process of buying a home. I'd highly recommend speaking to her if you were looking for a mortgage.

The worst Credit Union in Manitoba. Their app is frustrating to use, in person customer service is terrible. I am glad that I don't have to deal with them anymore because I closed my account today and I do not recommend this bank to anyone.

I just wanted to warn everyone to not ever come to this credit union ever. I was forced into them because entegra merged with ACU, and right from day 1 I was having insane amount of troubles with their app. It’s slow, laggy, outdated and by the way e transfers usually take at least 10 mins to accept or they simply just don’t work. I tried phoning them asking to help fix my e transfer as I use it frequently and the women I phoned was rude and didn’t have a clue on what she was saying. I then sent an email and I kid you not, It took them FOURTEEN days to respond to me, 14!! About my problems with e transfers. After this I INSTANTLY opened an account else where, I cannot believe the service and the app of this place, you wouldn’t believe it till you experience it.

I’ve banked with ACU for over 15 years, but I’m changing banks now. Endless technical problems and poor customer service. You get more responsive, more empathetic service from larger banks than you get here. I’m tired of not being able to access my account because of mysterious outages that no one can explain. I’m tired of the organization acquiring other organizations - ACU has all of the problems of a small bank with none of the ethics. I’m out.

I have been a member since 1982-83. If supidity is a mode that you like to operate with, then this is the financial insitution that you want to operate with. They have botched, delayed and messed with money that is clearly in my name. They have done everything to make it difficult for me to access my money;almost like banking in Beirut , unbelievable. And when they recognize your anger they read a scripted apology like Summer stock theater. 2 thumbs down

Assinbione CU was never my choice of credit unions or bank. We have been with them for nearly 40 years and we have moved our banking to a different Credit union, for many many reasons. But the latest. After 37 year with them they decided that our 5 dollar share for our joint account was not enough and they charged me an extra 5 dollars for an extra share. They also work like big banking institutions where they do not care about their members.
