Great place for genetic women. For transgender female, well they accept us, but don't feel so much accepted, seem more like they tolerate us". In Surrey we need a place like this but for LGBTQ. But for genetic women they have a very good reputation and good services."

Help me so much through some of the hardest times or my life. I can always rely on them for support and to take donations. One can be assured that items are going directly to families who will need and use them. Thanks to all the ladies at women's center, support staff, counselors and front desk staff are always pleasant as well. I wish more people were aware that these resources are available and just how wonderful and life changing the services provided have the potential to be!

This is an amazing place to go for all sorts of help if you're a woman who is homeless or not maybe even just struggling too. I went here for trauma counselling although I came at a transition time in the office where new people were being hired and old staff had moved on I still had a great connection with a couple ladies that work there. Theyve helped me with stuff like clothing and even from time to time diapers for my at the time young daughter. If ever you need to leave domestic violence situation this is where I'd would go. Or even counselling for grief trauma ect. This place is amazing. I hope more women struggling will access this as theyve helped me in some of my most hardest times. I disnt give 5 stars only because there can be a waitlist for some and others they'll take immediately it depends of the severity of the situation your coming to get help for. Other than waitlists I would give 5 stars. Thanks for your help and kindness surrey womens centre society!

Great place, amazing people. I went here over 6 years ago when I was fleeing a domestic violence situation with young kids. I was lost, depressed, and was ready to give up. I had nothing at one point in life. I was able to get counseling and information for other resources..

Got our flu shots there. At first they didn’t want to let my husband in since it’s a women’s centre and I guess some kind of refuge, but when we explained the purpose of our visit it all went smoothly. Very kind and nice nurse! Stickers for a baby is a plus! It’s a place where you can get flu shots for the whole family, even for very little ones.

After failing to get a PAP at other medical centres, my sister sent me a link to Embrace and I easily made an appointment for the next month. I was very apprehensive about what to expect, due to bad experiences so far and coming from the UK where I've generally found seeing a doctor here difficult. However, the staff there were warm and friendly and I had wonderful reassuring appointment. I asked for every test and procedure available and they were happy to accommodate, as well as informative, chatty and caring. It's always a little awkward, but the practitioner made it light-hearted too. I am extremely grateful for the service they provided to me and all women. Thank you Embrace.
