BC Computers - Computer & PC Repair Vancouver

I guess I am just not their target customer, but I had a PC that would not start and didn't have spare parts laying around to test. They where going to charge me $60 just to look at the PC the same day, plus their shop rate for the test.Instead I just went to Memory Express and bought the both parts and returned what I didn't need.I know repair shops have to charge to stay in business but the cost vs customer service makes me very happy I am able to do my own work rather than rely on places like this.

My laptop was missing its charger and I was getting desperate. Best Buy and others had repeatedly said Amazon was the only place for me to get it but it would take up to 2 months for a charger to make its way to me and I’d have paid nearly $50.I called in to BC computers as a last ditch. and not very hopeful, gamble. The guys simply asked me to come back in an hour for them to look and sure enough they had it!Not only did I not have to wait 2 months but cos they were just replacing the part of the charger that’s missing (no way you can do that on Amazon!) it was far cheaper than I expected.These are also the nicest guys you can ever meet. I was able to do an online assessment for a job I applied for, thanks to them, and since the deadline was that day and I had lost my phone, no way I could have scored over 90% without their help!Best computer repair store ever!

Amazing experience. I was struggling to get a stuck screw off the back cover of my laptop as it was preventing me from opening up the device and Mahdi did it efficiently and well. He also cleaned the fans of dust for me! Narges also provided excellent, kind customer service.

Really good repair center. They helped me order the part required and then installed it for me. Saved me a lot of money and time compared to going to other repair services. They also recycle of the old battery for me. Location was so easy to get and staff were friendly. Highly recommend checking this place out if you need laptop help.

I had a issue with my macbook pro, I went to store and told them the issue and they took my laptop for investigate the problem correctly which is free!, It was water damaged and they fixed it perfectly! It was fast and professional! They were respectful and welcoming. I recommend them to all of my friends! My experience with BC Computers was a mix of disappointment and frustration. Initially, their diagnosis took over a week, and the fix they suggested, which cost $420, did not resolve the issue with my Mac. I had to go for a second fix, which ended up costing an additional $175, before my laptop finally started working properly.However, the entire process dragged on for an unexpectedly long three weeks. Communication with Aref, the middleman, was lacking. He often left my messages unanswered for extended periods and failed to provide timely updates from the technician.While I am somewhat relieved that my laptop is now functioning, the overall experience with BC Computers left much to be desired. The initial unsuccessful fix, the prolonged duration, and poor communication all contributed to a frustrating ordeal.

I admit that BC Computers didn't charge me anything, but here is my experience with them.I couldn't properly turn on two HDDs earlier, so I brought in for them for an examintion. On site, they told me that both HDDs were broken and had to do data recovery. I forgot the exact fee, but it would be at least a couple hundred each if I go ahead with it. Thanks that I was about to leave town two days later and decided to take care of them when I returned.Since the charge for data recovery was so costly, and files inside was not indispensable, I decided to buy a new one instead. HA, I used the power adapter from the new HDD (different brand) and VOILA, both old HDDs were back on perfectly!!!

Would recommend!I brought my computer here recently for servicing & cleaning.They did a great job, and it looks like new :) Pretty fast turn-around, and reasonably priced as well.

Small, yet convenient place, with lovely staff and one of the most amazing female assistant. I envy you, guys, hehe.My laptop got broken some time ago and after further diagnostics it turned out to be irreparable. Luckily though, they had an alternative solution for me - HP office laptop which, shockingly, has touch screen, totally mind blowing!! It is like owning an iPad, haha. Plus it has mechanic, which is becoming less and less casual these days. Overall this new" laptop is perfect for me
