The last couple of years were horrible and Vancouver Park board was able to make it even worse. Parks around the city are not well maintained, sports courts are dirty, lots of crimes happening...very disappointing.

Vancouver Aquatic Centre, all of Beach Avenue are tragic examples of taking away community health and replacing it with unused bike lanes. Gone is the swimming pool, a bus route, residential parking stalls, west bound emergency vehicle access. Left is a horrendous Gregor & Kennedy legacy of concrete meridians.

Have reached out numerous times to ask about park plans and bylaws.Multiple Emails, phone calls, leaving VMs, calling 311, filling out website request forms have been met with zero communication back. It's been over several weeks and still no effort or courtesy of response has been put forward by the General Manager's Office.

Just make the Discount Dip allow users to use the fitness centers too. A normal Flex entry will allow this so why the difference?? Is the point of the program to help access to swimming or help access everything that will improve fitness?? The VAC has be allowing this for as long as I remember (at least 12 years) and was great. Now they are revoking because they have to coform to some arbitrary bureaucratic rule?? The excuse they gave me was 'its called Discount DIP'. Change the name to Discount Flex.

it is a beautiful park in out city and the parks board is worried about bikers dont we have a bike lane on the sea wall for that purpose we spend millions on bike paths and lanes instead of spending it on the park were did all those millions go that was raised from the big storm a few years agoparks board should be fired

The Stanley park closure hours is unacceptable. You can't access Stanley park for your morning workout until after 9 am and they have employed gate keepers at all entrances standing there. Its SO bright at 8am and even at 7am. I should be able to bike through the park at my own risk. I understand about the safety of elderly and children against coyotes but at this point its pushing others too much and compromising our ability to choose for ourselves in favour of more restrictions and rules. The park is taking away a beautiful morning routine which promotes health, stress reduction and wellness. The park opens too late now that a normal working individual no longer can do this before work. You should be able to determine the risk for yourself and not have someone else determine this for you.
