Was looking forward to a short trail loop to a lookout. The trail is horrible muddy and grown over. It did have some beautiful spots but for the most part not a pleasurable walk. I ran into two others on the trail that said it gets worse every year.If you do attempt make sure you have a map as the trails are not marked. I was not able to find the lookout.ALSO...this in all of me years hiking I have never encountered a tick. This trail graced me with 8 in total. I will not attempt again.

Excellent hike. Moderate difficulty, with some swampy wet areas at the start of the treck. Definitly worth the effort, with a beautiful view at the top and lots of area to explore. Multiple trials make this a place to visit more than once!
