True Blue Swim School

An amazing place for kids to learn to swim. Our kids have been at True blue since my daughter was 1 year at the Riverbend location and we have had nothing but a great experience with all the instructors and staff there. They have gone above and beyond to help our kids achieve their goals. Keep up the great work!

My two grandhcildren L and L have been swimming at True Blue Riverbend for over a year now. As the kids progress through the various levels, we have met new teachers, new pool supervisors and front desk staff.EVERYONE has gone out of their way to ensure learing to swim isFUN and educational. After a few months at True Blue, I noticed that enjoy so much in swimming at the same time we both feel disappointed and alittle upset. She call certainly do certain things, you think she will move on, but no! Example, she can already consistantly swim without assist, the teacher know but still give her the assist. Then how can she improve? Sometimes I have doubt if to move on to next level have 50% of chance by luck? Still observing about this swimming school.2 things I can sure: 1. my daughter did enjoy attending the class most of the time; 2. Small class is good for learning. But as a parent, still need to think about if its worth or not. The lesson here is around $30 per lesson (half hour).Added: After over a year now, I can kind of confirm my doubt. It is half depends on luck. They require student to be consistent - able to do the requirement for more than 1 time, then give you the certificate. However, the so call consistent is not consistent. Depends on the spot avaliable too! So if you are bad luck, you can end up doing good, nothing to improve but still no certificate. Then because someone need to move up, they will move you up (but not your level, you still dont get the certificate). Then you sort of need to prove everything again. They will tell you they keep notes, change teacher won't affect. However... so far my experience... with observing others... that also depends on your luck.The only thing did not change is my daughter did love to swim there.

Love it! I was nervous at first to sign the kids up with the price and times/make up system. It was way easier than I could of imagined. Makes ups are a breeze to schedule. Swim times are easy to switch around once your are in their system - makes the price worth it to me. Sick kid, no problem, simply reschedule - no lost class time. My kids excelled in this program. I would recommend True Blue.

The cost of swimming is comparable to other private lessons out there so would encourage to shop around as they jam as many kids as they can fit into classes. Their make up policy is difficult to work with, and the classes in the upper levels are extremely busy. The teachers are great, but the general program and cost is underwhelming for value.

Nice environment for kids to learn swimming! The instructors are patient and kiss usually enjoy working with them.

I spoke with Lora-Lae on the phone for booking my kids in and she was so lovely. She accommodated the specific time of day I needed and was able to get both my kids in at the same time in different classes (as requested). I had lots of questions and she answered them all and sent a follow up info with all the details about parking and arrival time etc. Super seamless! I can’t wait for them to start their classes, very impressed so far.

Small class sizes, multiple instructors, and a pool warm enough the kids aren't cold.Kids swim lessons are great. Our guys learned the basics very quick and our 8yr old is working on her medal for the 1km.

Great place to learn to swim. Teachers are always an arm's length away from your child. Both my kids thrived and built confidence in swimming. They now have such a passion for swimming and are always excited about going to the pool. Great life skill to have! Staff are always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend True Blue.
