The staff were nice, however, I did not feel that the store was very clean. The windows were covered in cobwebs and it did not seem to me that proper cleaning was done in a very long time. This is important especially in COVID times. If they can't clean their windows, it makes one wonder what else they don't clean.

On this day of my appointment (Dec.6/2021), I found this Optometric Center quite helpful with good reception and friendly approach. My eye examination by Dr. A-T Nguyen was properly handled and thoroughly investigated followed by an exceptional advice on what to do next.I thank all sincerely.Bantirgu Bedane

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen since before she opened her own office. When I saw her today we were just discussing how I have been a patient since 1997.Now I am retired and live outside the city, but still do the over an hour drive to specifically see her for my eyes because she has gained my trust over the years with her professionalism, knowledge and obvious caring attitude. She has always been willing to answer my questions and explain things at a level I can understand as a lay person.The reason for the visit today was due to an eye injury when a tree branch poked me in the eye while doing yard work. Although I saw an MD at the local hospital's ER after the injury, I wanted a professional opinion due to some lingering symptoms. Luckily everything checked out fine with the injury itself which has healed nicely, but Dr. Nguyen discovered another issue which needs to be dealt with.Another reason for seeing Dr. Nguyen is that she will not hesitate to refer a patient to an ophthalmologist if she feels this is needed. It should be noted that she has close ties with some of the best ophthalmologists in Ottawa, so getting a quick referral is not a problem.Trying to find a healthcare provider you trust and actually like on a personal level is not easy. I have been happy with Dr. Nguyen for 24yrs now and have no intention of switching to another optometrist.As an accountant, my only observation would be that Dr. Nguyen undercharges for her time spent with patients. Yes, you read that correctly. I feel that in comparison to other health professionals she charges a significantly lower rate based on the fee charged given the time spent with me personally. You sure do not see that often these days!
