Nice walking trail. Ample parking and multiple entry points. It’s relatively flat. Main trail and dog park is separated by fence. We visited this trail in all seasons. In winter you can also enjoy tobogganing.

Such a great place to bring your dog for a walk. I've only had a few issues with people not notice their dog is harassing mine, as she's shy.Overall friendly people. Messy when the weather is warming up, beautiful in the winter.Only 1 bathroom, and it's an outhouse. Only 1 garbage, which is odd.

Wonderful place to take our pet dogs. They can run leash free and without worry. It’s a great place for dogs to socialise and have play dates.

I have a very anxious and reactive dog, we took her here to help her meet more dogs and see people in a positive attitude. We made sure we had her do not pet" vest on and people respected her spaceCan always count on people but I never let her off leash"

Best dog park I have ever been to, most dogs very well behaved you'll see huge dogs and tiny dogs all getting along. Features massive field for dogs to play, benches to sit on, washroom, huge parking lot, places for dogs to drink (bring jug of water on hot days), and many winding trails to walk on, big trail around will feature many dogs but smaller trails in between will be quieter.

Best off-leash dog park in the area. Massive open space with some seating plus a huge amount of trails to explore. There is even a rainbow bridge to post your lost pup's tag which always brings tears to our eyes.

On behalf of my dog, 5 stars for that! (4-star rating explained below.) It's a nice nature walk, but you have the sound of highway 416 throughout the park. It's easy to ignore, but it's there like white noise. But it's a great park for dogs to run free. The park is fully fenced (but an open fence between parking lot and park entrance). Part of the fencing was damaged by treefall. The debris was removed, but the fence isn't repaired and a determined dog would be able to make its way past it, hence the 4-star rating. Most people there are friendly dog people" and don't mind dog interaction. If you're a dog owner in Ottawa, you'll definitely want to check out this park. It offers a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else in the city. One of the most notable features of this park is its size. It's huge, with plenty of space for dogs to run around and play without feeling cramped or crowded. The park is also very well maintained, the goers are respectful and clean up after their dogs which helps to keep the park clean and enjoyable for all visitors.Another great thing about this off-leash dog park is the social aspect. It's a great place to meet other dog owners and for your furry friend to make new friends too. The park's friendly atmosphere and sense of community make it a truly special place.Overall, I would highly recommend Bruce pit to any dog owner in Ottawa. It's a fantastic place to let your dog run free and have some fun in a safe and secure environment. I only wish that there were more parks like this one in the city, as it truly is a gem among Ottawa's many outdoor spaces.See you out there on the loop!

Awesome place to see so many happy pooches. Better than a dog park, since everyone keeps moving, the place is pretty spacious with a meadow, wooded areas and also sand patches. Doesn't get too muddy in spring. It is mostly fenced, but parking area is open. It can get pretty busy on weekends and walking hours.
