Star Ready to Move Homes Manitoba/Saskatchewan

Star built my garage. They do not care about providing any services to you once you sign with them. Please please be aware that you are risking tens of thousands of dollars for them not to respond to you. Poor craftsmanship and terrible subcontractors. The only window I have has screws through the seals and the stucco is almost falling off after less than two years. Pretty sure i will need to take them to small claims court to get the deficiencies paid for and corrected? Please right your wrongs.Honestly, consider a different builder.

Worst mistake of our lives was going with star. As soon as you sign the contract the salesmen was done caring and the building team never started caring. Terrible customer service followed by the worst workmanship and total lack of pride. Repeatedly lied to us, refused to correct problems with the house. It was and continues to be a huge disaster to deal with them. Had to put a claim in to home warranty to get any repairs started. Otherwise they would have never helped us. Please please find a different builder for your home. You WILL regret dealing with this company absolutely terrible. If we could’ve walked away after the first viewing we would have. Should’ve phoned the lawyer that day. Explore a different option, our forever home we wanted is now tainted by 9 months of anger, sadness and disappointment.

Have visited this store 3x to check out their homes. We have not bought an RTM but when we do we will buy here. Beautifully built homes and excellent layouts. Price is competitive. Friendly staff.

Having only visited the website they have a very nice selection. Haven't seen pricing on their homes. They have several designs I'd be interested in owning

Loved being able to look at the homes, no one came and spoke with us while we were there, so we just wandered though the couple of house that were open. Houses were all greatly presented.

The sales people were very accommodating and provided the necessary information to help my family make a decision on a home. The show homes are nicely setup, so that you can take a look through them all in a small amount of time. We even received a free Recycle Everywhere bag from Star!

I have waited a year to post any review as I wanted to let the experience and house settle before sharing. I felt very looked after until the house arrived...The house came with quite a few problems that were supposed.to be rectified that weren't. The ceilings and walls dont match up properly we had a drywaller come in and tell us that he would have to replace the entire ceiling to fix it. We had holes in the walls for vents that lead to nothing!The walls were painted with im assuming a spray gun that was obviously clogged because our walls have chunks sprayed all over them. our kitchen counters dont match up in the seems and are already peeling away at the seems. All of our exterior doors and some windows were installed improperly.I am beyond disapointed that I have to now renovate a brand new house.After sending photos and emails to star we were told that a refund or rebate for fixing the cracks from settling was what they were willing to do for us....
