Chippewa River Restaurant and Store
Came by this place since we were in the area. Ordered the fish and chip for take out and ate across the fall. First and foremost, the fish was amazing. You can definitely tell its fresh. The side were good portion and it has the complete set. Will recommend this place is youre ever in the area and try eating at the falls to complete the whole experience!

The owners were amazing, it’s a Mother and Son duo and it can’t get any better than that. It’s conveniently located beside the Chippewa River along Highway 17. I ordered the breakfast portion which is big, coffee is fresh and the oh my gooodness the homebaked treats.. I got the insanely yummy Mango Pineapple Pie and decadent Chocolate Chip Cookie, again the portions were big. Make sure you make a pit stop when you’re in the area, it’s one of the highlights of my drive from Toronto to Vancouver.

Cute place run by some friendly ladies. I recommend the Friday/Saturday fish fry. There’s also a small selection of snacks, drinks, ice, ice cream and baked goods. Little play structure for the kiddos outside.

Delicious fish and chips. Also, the best vegetable soup I have ever had. Friendly service and an overall cozy atmosphere as though you're stopping by at Grandma's house to get fed before a long trip. Oh and the fish is caught locally!

The taste of food, service and ambience was ok. When we ordered food was promised to give it in 20 mins but we had to wait over an hour for it. By the time the food came all the teenagers in the group was not satisfied as they were starving. Fries and poutine were not the best but the sandwiches were good. Kids had to help the staff bring our food out. I saw people at another table not being happy with the wait time. Walking distance from Chippewa Falls parking. Has good washrooms.

Awesome food! We were stuck in a traffic jam because of an accident on highway 17 for more than 5 hours, and this restaurant kept open to serve whoever came knocking at their doors even beyond their closing hours! Philly cheese steaks were great too!

We stopped here on our way back to our hotel in Sault Ste Marie. The food here was delicious. They made some good suggestions ans cooked everything fresh. Should definitely try their fish which they fresh and cook on demand.

Family restaurant where quality comes without compromise! What more can I say? Food freshly cooked while we waited. Chicken strips and the poutine was delicious and impossible to finish.Highly recommended this little family restaurant that’s committed to serving fresh quality food.

Fresh hand made food is extremely hard to beat especially for the prices. Fries are fresh cut on the spot. Job well done.
