Budget Car Rental

The person I talked to was very ignorant to me on the phone, didn't understand what land departure was and that is when he got really ignorant to me. Plus when I asked for a price for an 8-day rental budget car rental was way overpriced.

We rented a car at the last minute on the Saturday of this past long weekend after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. Leslie was so helpful and compassionate and did everything she could to assist us in getting a vehicle so we could be on the road again. TJ was also helpful guiding Leslie on how to process this for an insurance claim. Would recommend highly for all rental car needs

Got stranded on the side of the road with 2 young kids during our family vacation and with the quick service of the tow truck and Budget, we were back on the road in only an hour! They picked up the phone when I called, which was a lot ;), and was straight with me! I respect that! great experience. Only problem was they referred me to the Midas to get my car fixed and paid too much and got stranded again within 5 minute of picking up my car days later... welp.

After having problems with Budget at the Toronto Airport, we brought our rental vehicle to Budget in Belleville. The gentleman behind the counter, upon learning of the situation, was quick to act and determined to make it right. Not only did he offer to get us a new vehicle that better suited our needs, he offered an upgraded vehicle to help smooth things over. The gentleman we spoke with was efficient, courteous and certainly customer-centric. Will be renting from this location for all future visits.

I’ve used this Budget location a number of times and am always impressed by the friendly, helpful customer service I receive there. It’s nice to be able to just relax now and then when travelling.

Rented a suv from Budget . Very friendly and accommodating staff. The rental I had I was very impressed. I’ve rented many vehicles in Belleville before and this is the only place I will go to from now on. As a home inspector who has clients in my vehicle from time to time the vehicle I had was very clean and drove beautifully. If you are looking to rent a vehicle go to Budget. They don’t disappoint

Excellent customer service! 10/10 for this location. Ran into some difficulties on a 1 way rental Florida to Toronto. After 45 min on the phone with budget rental company 1-800 numbers I still had no answer. Called this location in Belleville and they had me fixed up in less than 2 minutes.

So tomorrow I have to return my rental. There was a little mix up picking up a car on Friday but the problem was resolved immediately! I want to thank the person that looked after me..Because of my situation I was treated with great respect and my car was upgraded as mine was not in at the time. It was a bonus for me! I got to take a brand new BMW to London to visit my daughter! I don't want to return it tomorrow! Thanks again for everything! My trip was amazing and I got to drive in style! Definitely would recommend this company! Also the rates were cheaper than other places!

TJ at the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful, professional, and polite. He called to make sure we were still in need of the rental (we were late in arriving to pick it up) and then had everything ready for a fast rental. The car is in great shape and he was able to switch our date to accommodate us, with a smile! We will definitely use Budget when we are in Canada next summer!

This is a story of two halves. Thank you to TJ manager of budget car rental in Belleville for helping resolve the problem created by Budget at Toronto Pearson Airport who allocated me a car of the wrong category without explanation. In fact they were extremely rude and had zero customer service. They then didn’t answer their phone which meant I had to spend precious days of my holiday trying to find a suitable car that was big enough to get us back to the airport. TJ at Belleville managed to source me s suitable car and was extremely helpful when we arrived to do a swap. Thank you. I will be contacting Budget Toronto Pearson direct to complain about the service I originally received and would never recommend you use the branch at the airportLucy Partridge .
