Chungchun Rice Hot Dog

The house coffee was ok. I had the half mozzarella/hotdog which was really good l. The ramen coated hotdog is Instagram nice but not as good as the mozzarella/hotdog.

WTF… these dogs are un-freakin-real… I cannot express my obsession with this place! I got an original dog with spicy mayo, sweet chilli and hot sauce and I am headed to the moon!!! TRY THESE THINGS!!! Also their ice coffee was not bad.

I’ve been absolutely vacuuming up these Korean-style corndogs ever since they arrived in Edmonton at WEM. Chungchun offers a different type of corndog where the batter is made with glutinous rice which in turn makes the batter soft and chewy. It’s delicious. Whenever I go, I usually get a Double Cheese, a beef & chicken sausage wrapped in cheddar and mozzarella cheese. I then have it covered in sweet potato and smothered in some sort of honey mustard and spicy mayo. There are a bunch of toppings to choose from so I tend to mix it up. But the crispy texture but sweet taste of the sweet potato is my fave. Not a fan of the ramen but maybe one day I’ll give it a go. They usually suggest throwing some sugar on your hotdog and after trying it out once I’ll have to say that it is pretty delicious.I’ve had about 6 of these corndogs err Korean hotdogs, whatever you want to call them. Every time I’m pretty satisfied with all of them, but the price is also satisfying for snack food. Their vegetarian options run from 5, while the highest-priced meat options run to 8. It’s no Costco pricing but it does offer more dimensions of flavour. At least 5 dimensions more. I find these a good alternative to buying popcorn when watching a movie and won’t be the last sausage I put in my mouth at a dark theatre.Sal says: Just Try It (3.7/5)

This was an incredible experience, I've only ever had 7-11 and Pogo Corndogs, I don't think I'll ever eat those again. I cannot wait to come back here for more!

Came here to check out what’s the hype about. I ordered and it took about 32 minutes for them to make it. While waiting and seeing other behind me getting their order the cashier didn’t even bother apologizing why our order took so long. The corn dog with ramen was ok nothing to be “wow” about. I don’t recommend it.

We stopped in here today to try these hot dogs we seen on tic tok. I’m so glad we did. These hot dogs are amazing !!! So many different dogs to choose from and lots of sauces and spices to add on. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

Good price ($5-$8) for a relatively large corndog! The flavour is good and there are many options/addons available. The sweet potato is pretty good!!!Service is also fairly quick. There was a line but we got ours in less than 10 minutes.

Visit: March 2023Tried Chungchun for the first time after the hype died down a bit. Had to wait about 10 minutes for my order to finish. The exterior was very crispy, the interior was hot and delicious. I wish there was a bit more filling" in ratio to the exterior shell. I got the cheese and hotdog and I didn't expect it to be all cheese the first half and hot dog the second half
