Island View Tree Service

We hired Island View Tree Service to top and cut back our enormous Leyland Cypress trees. They were very easy to deal with and they did a wonderful job including a very thorough clean up. I definitely will use them again and have already recommended them to friends who were also pleased.

I wanted to give a huge thank you to Dave and the gang at Island View Tree Service for going above and beyond with their exceptional service on a tree removal and especially on the blackberry bush removal! Island View Tree Service – July 26, 2021 – Excellent Company - Today we had Island View Tree Service do some extensive limb removal on two trees (a Willow & a Cedar) along our fence line (with our neighbour’s approval, of course) and two trees within our property. We had used Island View Tree Service last October, 2020 and were so very much impressed with their professionalism, hardworking experienced crew, promptness, friendliness, tidiness / clean-up, and very affordable/best pricing that it was a no brainer to hire them again for today’s job. We didn’t think we could be more impressed than last time but we were. As before, they mulched the branches, swept, raked and used their leaf blower on the driveway when they completed the job. The Willow tree required great experience maneuvering through it and dropping the branches without causing damage to either property or injuring the crew member(s). Dave and his crew are an exceptional team and we highly recommend them for any tree service you may require – we will definitely use them again for any future tree service. Couldn't be happier with the result!

Did not complete the job and damaged our property. Dave (the estimator) was absent during the work so we called to ask him to come back to have a look and talk about what happened and he promised over the phone to “make it right” but we never saw him again. We called and emailed but he told us he was very busy so we completed the repairs ourselves. More than 2 1/2 months later we are emailed a bill from Dave for the original quoted amount that did not take into account the unfinished work and the damage. Disorganized and unprofessional. Do not recommend this company.

Dale is the owner of the business and Dave does the sales work. They are both incredible professionals and will take care of you all along the process. Dale is well qualified in advising what to do. He also has the equipment to do the job right. Showed up on time, did not rush the job and were very helpful along the way. Tree removal may seem expensive but when you see the attention of detail that goes into it you will not regret bringing in a real professional.

David and his crew arrived as scheduled and immediately got to work. They removed many of our trees that were dead or dying. They also trimmed many dead branches from other trees. They were professional, using all safety precautions. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up behind themselves. We would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for tree service! Thanks guys!

Island view managed the removal of a very large Gary oak that had been deemed a hazard. Glad they were able to take it down when they did as it was completely rotten on the inside and would have been a matter of time before cause serious damage or injury.
