Sprouted Earthlings Doula

Having Grace as our doula was one of the best decisions we made for my pregnancy. We felt supported and genuinely cared for from our first meeting all the way through to post partum. Being able to ask questions and get evidence based answers helped with my anxiety as a first time mom. She was a reassuring presence to have for both my husband and I during labour and delivery and she helped coach both of us through breathing and pain management techniques at home and at the hospital. Having Grace check in after we were home really has helped us get through the first few weeks while we are learning to be new parents. We are so grateful that she was able to be there for us as part of our care team and highly recommend her for anyone looking to have a well supported birth experience.

I cannot say enough great things about Grace. From the very beginning, before she became my doula and before I gave her a single penny she was so very helpful. I knew she was the person I’d be most happy and most comfortable to have supporting me through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. It is very clear she’s in this career for all the right reasons. She was always a quick text or call away and I was never left waiting for a reply. Even though she took me on as a last minute client, she really gave her all and even had a back up doula for in case she wasn’t available. I really felt she went above and beyond for our family, I would definitely love to work with her again and I would recommend her to anyone looking for or considering a doulaAttached one of many of the amazing photos she captured of us in hospital.

If I could give Grace 100 stars out of 10, I would! Hiring her as our doula was hands down the best thing we did for our pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. The space she holds for a first time mama is non-judgmental; full of kindness and wisdom. She was truly made for this work and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!!!

You will not be disappointed with your choice of grace for birth and or postpartum, I have had 2 babies. My first was a very traumatic cesarean, So with my second pregnancy I reached out to grace and asked about her doula care. She made me feel confident in all the decisions I had to make I decided to have a second cesarean so she was not allowed in the operating room with me but she talked me through just about everything that happened, she made me feel confident enough to say what I did and didn’t want from the birth workers. She also helped me find a Midwife to go with, when coming back from the recovery room with my fiancé and I’s new baby we were greeted with a smile and helping hand with whatever we needed. Not to mention grace went above and beyond when it came to postpartum support, she came into my home and helped, she did dishes and folded laundry, helped care for my oldest daughter. She also offered to watch both so I could have a nap. Grace is a superior human and an amazing birth worker, I’m so grateful I had her there with me through every decision In my last birth and you would not be disappointed with her at all.

I’m not even sure where to begin when it comes to Grace as a doula. She is a magic that blessed the sacred birth world and I am so incredibly thankful for her during my last birth. After 2 previous traumatic births I was understandably stressed and nervous for the next birth. I knew I COULD birth because I had before, but I had many moments of doubt. I flopped back and forth between a planned csection, induction, or just waiting it out. With previously large babies and having a medical condition (because we CAN birth big babies) I was having troubles picking a route. Grace spent hours going back and forth and back and forth with me on all the options. She reminded me I COULD do whatever I wanted to do and that I could have a vaginal birth but I could have a belly and that I am capable of either. When I ultimately decided on a vaginal induction I had 3 failed attempts. She continuously offered support and encouragement. We did a lot of mental and emotional work in those few days. Prior to labour starting she encouraged a lot of peace work with my body. I can say today if I hadn’t put the time in to understanding my body, thanking it, making peace with the past, and working with Grace I wouldn’t have had the absolute magical birth that I did. I delivered another big baby vaginally, and crushed it. I owe a lot to Grace, she reminded me of my magic and she will 100% help you find yours. I cannot think of a better job for Grace, she is so perfect and so educated in every move she makes. She is the master link, she helps all the pieces you already have inside you come to life with encouragement and trust in your body. Grace is going to do big things in the birth world, and to have her be apart of your birth story is a blessing. Thank you Grace for helping me achieve my souls healing, unassisted, physiological birth I had always dreamt of!

Loved loved loved having Grace as a part of my birth team, she’s full of knowledge and such a Gentle soul. No matter what your birth plan holds she’s you’re number one supporter and she really upholds the mother and makes sure you are set up for success, If you’re looking to feel supported and empowered during your birth year journey, Grace is the doula for you!

I could not possibly say enough good things about Grace! She will forever be a friend of our family. Her warm and gentle nature was exactly what I needed in my second pregnancy after losing my first. She was the best support we could have asked for, she provided us with evidence based information, emotional support, guidance with physical support, and her photography skills were such an incredible bonus. I felt very balanced and calm in her care, and my husband agrees. We had some scary and hard moments during the birth of our son, and having someone there for my husband was invaluable. If you have the opportunity to get Grace’s support, you will not regret it for a second!

I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through pregnancy, labour and postpartum without Grace. She made my husband and I feel so supported and empowered to make informed decisions about our pregnancy and birth. She provided so much emotional support for both my husband and I and provided us with all the information about the procedures, encouraged us to ask questions, and sent us articles on the topic so we could make the choice that best suited us. Grace calmed all my anxieties and made me feel like I could handle anything that came up. Grace is the most amazing person and honestly became part of the family. I would recommend her to anyone!! If you’re on the fence about hiring a doula, don’t wait! Hiring Grace will be the best decision you ever make ❤️

I truly think my birth would have been a lot more traumatic without having Grace as my doula. She prepared me so well to listen to my body and taught me how to keep myself calm and happy during labour and delivery. I ended up birthing my son in the car on the way to the hospital 40 mins after my contractions started, I talked to Grace on the phone 10 minutes before my son was born and she kept me so calm and reminded me to go with the flow and trust my body knowing my contractions were extremely close together and that I probably wouldn't be making it to the hospital. She met me at the hospital asap and got some pictures of my family. She was also amazing for postpartum care, she came over and did my dishes, laundry and entertained my toddler while I was cluster feeding my son. She's given me endless information on chiropractic care (which has worked wonders), sleep help, breastfeeding ect. She is amazing and I'm so glad I shared my pregnancy and birth with her.
