Never returns any calls. Put a shelter right beside my house. Terrible choice for my community.

Never answer the phone, or return messages and hardly response to e-mails. If you need help, going to Joe is not the answer even though the city website keeps saying they are there to help. I have had two issues, and both were terribly dealt with.

Joe works incredibly hard for his constituents and goes above and beyond every day. I've literally seen him shovelling dirt for a gardening program in my neighbourhood with no help and nobody to see him do it. He empowers people to be better citizens and is a truly dedicated public servant.

This guy is just out for himself and shows no concern for the livability of the city, This city is in a tailspin and he's spending most his time looking for a parachute. Joe will have hard time finding a real job after his short political theatrics. This Black Sox boy is certainly no Shoeless Joe Jackson - by a long stretch'.

Here's my very straight forward and honest review of my experience meeting our city councillor:Negatives:- He didn't seem to care about my family's position and showed little empathy.- Joe's office booked me a meeting at the wrong location (Scaddington Court instead of City Hall). I ended up going across the city.- Joe didn't seem very open minded about the issues we discussed.- He offered no reasonable solution to my problem with the City of Toronto- His office seemed a bit lavish for someone in his role. I expected something a bit more humble, especially for someone claiming to be a socialist.Positives:- He was honest and upfront about his position.- Spent a decent amount of time talking with me- His lavish office is nice to sit in, even if it's paid for by our hard earn tax dollars.

No one answers the emails, or the phone. The message says the call will be returned and it never was . This is about one month ago. Cannot understand how I and others have been totally ignored. I'm sure when an election is called, I'll be contacted for my vote!! It will be too late at that point.

We met him at the community centre and I was surprised at how unpretentious the whole thing was. So casual and relaxed. He gave us the help we needed and was very pleasant to interact with. Down to earth and sincere.

I dealt with an Advisor in his office who had no knowledge of city service standards and the complaints process which I later googled and found online.I contacted the office and an Advisor" responded. He referred me straight back to 311. He didn't care about my complaint. After the fact

Calling his office gets a voicemail saying that they will return calls the same day, but they never do. Joe Cressy seems to focus on photo ops for new bike paths and not much else. Joe Cressy appears to have never actually had a real job in his life, and went into politics because he is the son of former Toronto City Councillors Gordon Cressy and Joanne Campbell. This is a perfect example of the type of person we need to be kept out of politics - their main skill is politics.
