Dinner here was great, as always. Amazing food, service and ambience. Was expecting to have steak frites but when that wasn’t on the menu we ordered the bison carpaccio and it was sooo good. The Congolese mussels and broth are so delicious and I’m always surprised how many are in there! Very filling. They have such a great liquor menu too, including hard-to-find Belgian Trappist beers, and Fortaleza tequila. Fun to sit at the bar and converse with the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

My aunt and uncle were visiting and I think I couldn’t have booked a better place. I, of course, was drawn by the reviews and the positive feedback of other patrons’ experiences, but these were not fluff marketing ploys.The food was absolutely amazing! The dishes were unique in both presentation and taste. If you want something DIFFERENT and novel, then this is the place. It may sound corny, but the medley of ingredients that were activating my taste buds was incredible. I’m really curious what the other dishes taste like and that’s why it’s worth revisiting.The vibe was upbeat and you are made to get into that personable mindset, as the staff members seem to be - from the reception to the initial greeting at the table and the overall service. I would have preferred the tables and seats to be a bit farther apart for more semi-privacy, but packing in that many patrons also made business sense.It was my uncle’s treat and I think the servers already got the cue from that considering he was the more senior at our table and staff members were engaging him more, but the servers also were not short of properly addressing us when it was our turn to say something. Acknowledgement of presence was never short and I loved it about their service. They’re absolutely attentive and also steadfast. If the water levels on glasses were low, someone was on it and they had that open-hands stance about their demeanor in engaging us. Someone would swing by every now and then to check in on us and the staff members were not snoots. This is probably the best experience I’ve had in a while.The restaurant is worth a try EXPERIENCING.

Chambar has a beautiful environment, brick walls and gorgeous lights. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. We ordered the beef short ribs and brochette du porc (meat heavy). The brunch meals were good, beef was so tender. My favourite part of the meal however was the mini waffles and dips. The waffles had a unique slightly chewy texture and the dips were fabulous. Would definitely return!

Service was excellent and I like the warm funky, bustling vibe. I have to give the food a 4 but only just. The shakshuka and french lentils were quite good, the grilled halumi was borderline too salty. I think that using the iron pans for some of the dishes is a bit too cute and when the food is acidic (the beef dish with onions and vinegar) it clearly picks up the iron taste from the pan. Overall an enjoyable spot for brunch at a reasonable price but the food could be tuned up a bit.

Absolutely amazing food. They were also very good with my food allergies. Not only was I accommodated I had flavorful and amazing food. Went for brunch, which is hard to get my egg, dairy, and gluten allergy accommodated but it was amazing.They have an amazing gluten free bread, without egg and dairy.Their bacon and apple side was the most incredible bacon I’ve had in forever. Must get.Was told their dinner menu is extremely gluten free, dairy free, and egg free friendly.

I cannot say enough about the service. We found out our server was only in her role for two weeks. She was professional, presentable and knew the menu inside out. You can tell the staff there is cohesively working as one unit and that they really loved being part of the team. When our server was not able to come to our table I believe the general manager popped by - he already knew that we had dietary restrictions. This place is a staple and absolutely one of my favourite places in Vancouver.

The ambiance of CHAMBER exudes warmth and cordiality, owing to its distinctive lighting and decoration that features warm colors and wooden materials. Even in the washroom, meticulous attention has been paid to the décor and its elements, which I found more alluring than the excellent cuisine and congenial staff. The inviting atmosphere of Chamber made it comfortable for me to enjoy the company of my companions, including my boss . The tasteful decoration undoubtedly enhanced the dining experience and left a lasting impression on me. Chamber Restaurant has made a concerted effort to create a memorable and aesthetically pleasing dining experience.

Went there around 5 PM on Friday, was able to get in without a reservation. Service was very friendly. Drink orders were taken quickly and served. It became mildly busier and our food orders took a bit longer, which can be forgiven.The food and drink were excellent. Flatbread appetizer was great, never had anything like it before. The Vegetarian curry was very light and delicious according to my fellow diner (Not for my personal taste, however.) The large portion of lamb was incredibly tender, fell off the bone. Thought I have to admit, the giant bok-choy(?) in my dish was a bit odd, in my opinion. Leftovers were packed up for me. Will definitely go back in the future for Brunch!

Been wanting to come here for a long time but they usually very busy so reservations are a must. We finally decided to drop by for brunch and was not disappointed. The food and service was top notch. The food was perfectly prepared and arrived quickly.The only downside is the location, not the best part of town. It's hard to find parking nearby, and even during the day, I didn't feel safe walking to and from my car. I can't imagine what it is like after dark and if there is a sporting event in the area, where I would even park.Overall, a great place for brunch. Well worth the price.

Great food, I loved the paella! The dessert (waffles with dark chocolate and maple syrup) was yummy too. Unfortunately the orange juice was not fresh squeezed. Prices are ok (around the media). Friendly staff. Would like to go back for the summer season as I saw a big patio which seemed to be nice and comfortable but was closed.
