Unacceptable is the only word I can say. Our 2016 Kia Sportage was towed into their parking lot June 22, 2022 with a blown engine, what Kia’s are famous for. Nearly 2 months later it’s still there. Service manager Robert just rudely told my wife “we’ll get to it when we get to it”. They have not called once in nearly 2 months with any update or information. Way to run a business.

Brought in my forte for recalls. Scheduled the appointment for the recall, waited 2 weeks and took time off work to bring it to them. They didn't have all the recalled parts and had to schedule a second appointment. You would think after I told you what I was bringing you would schedule the first appointment with the parts ready. Had to bring it in a second time and miss more work because they couldn't do their job right the first time. The woman that answers phones and works reception is an absolute dunce. She sat my wife down and showed her the reception, absolutely no clue whats going on around her.. 2 minutes later called her on her phone sitting next to her. She was rude to my wife and didn't have a clue what she was talking about. The second appointment they forgot to order another part. So they tried to get us in to miss work again because why would a dealership work on the weekends. They finally fixed" the engine light. Came on the next day after driving 20 minutes. Charged us 100 dollars for a five minute job because they work so hard they have to be criminals and charge a whole hour. Overall you're better off doing your own maintenance blindfolded. Or just take it to a regular mechanic. Absolute joke of a dealership. Someone's wife or daughter needs to be removed from the desk and put on floor cleaning. Joke. They just tried to schedule us again on a weekday during work hours. Wake up KIA"

Have been a customer of Fredericton Kia since 2004. Sales dept has been honest and non pressure. Hard to find today. Service has been exemplary. Issues have been far and few between and always corrected with a smile on the first attemptMany family member and friends have purchased from them with great successLooking forward to my next Kia. Either an EV6 or EV9.

May 12, 2023 - UPDATE: Although at this point I am not raising the stars from one that much from the initial review, after 3 weeks the finally got the diagnostic done and have determined that the engine is gone and will be replaced by Kia. We will see how long it takes to get the engine ordered, shipped, and installed. I appreciate the fact that it has been checked, the timeline could have been more efficent. Thanks for finally getting this done. Hopefully soon I will have my own vehicle back.April 24, 2023 - Not impressed at all!! I dropped my 2016 Sportage off on a Monday afternoon and Friday it still sits in the lot. I realize that people have appointments to get tires changed but I have no backup vehicle. There are recalls to be done of which the dealer I bought it from did not disclose there were recalls on it from before 2019. I bought it in 2021. And surprise, surprise there is also an engine that is gone in it. I was told earlier (Friday afternoon) that they had no appointments for the rest of that afternoon and the service lady said she would mention about bringing it in to look at. They did move it however...from on side of the parking lot to the other!! I'm not impressed with the business and certainly not impressed with the vehicle. Where is the service" in service center? No updates all week. The only person that understood me was a sales person. I just want to know what is going on? People have lives to scratch through and waiting for answers are very aggravating!! And not even a loaner car to at least get through!! Not impressed...not at all!! Apparently these engines have a tendency to go. End of rant...not that this will matter. By looking at many other people who have had the same issues

They always find something that needs to be replaced or that will cost more for parts and service, make you come back to order parts on something they should've fixed or ordered the parts for on their last check. All dealerships want is the customers money, Kia is not different

The car itself has been great– reliable, feels safe, great on gas. No regrets. I have chosen to get all my service done through Kia also. Other than one issue which they sorted out in a very fair way, they have been very professional and helpful, and are always very friendly.6.5 year update: I have been very happy with my KIA. However, just after the 5 year mark/warranty period, I started having a couple of issues. The back up camera gave out and only works from time to time now. The A/C has been problematic, also working on and off. I have had it in for service 3 times now. Frustrating timing.
