Harley picked up my photos for me and scanned them all and returned them promptly the very next week. I would not hesitate to recommend Share My Photographs! Recently I was on the hunt for a place to send about 2000 family photos to be scanned. I went to the usual places and was told it would be 6 weeks or that they can do the scanning but they ship the photos out of country to have them scanned. And then I found Harley's website. Harley's customer service is outstanding! He went over my options and I opted for the self scanner. Harley dropped the scanner and laptop off the next day, with a quick tutorial and the experience was perfect. The scanner and software was very easy to use, very quick (scanned over 2,000 pictures in about 4 hours with 3 kids running around), and the photo quality was fabulous! I would only use Harley for photo scanning or digitizing in the future. I have told many people about his service and I will continue to share. The experience was easy and quick...I can't wait to give these photos to my parents over the holidays! Thank you Harley!

Harley was a pleasure to work with. He fully explained how to use the photo scanner and had excellent suggestions on how to organize our photos. The service included home drop-off, set-up and pick-up (in the greater Vancouver area). The scanner is very fast and quality of the scans are terrific. We were able to scan 3,600 photos easily over the course of three days. I would definitely use a DIY solution like this over sending photos in the mail or overseas for scanning.

When you're stuck looking at a pile of photo albums and wondering what to do with it all, this service can help you sort through the clutter quickly. Harley aims to please with this service, which includes delivery and a everything you need to turn a shoebox of photos into a digital shareable photo album in a really short time.I suggest doing a cull of photos you don't need to scan as the price can add up with more scans, but if you don't have heaps of time like I did, Harley's service was a lifesaver.

I'm very happy with the results of our 3-day photo scanning binge. The equipment was very easy to use and produced good quality scans (over 4000) in a remarkably short time. Harley offered helpful advice when he dropped off the scanner, but the instructions in his printed guide were also very clear.We spent a few days getting ready for our scanning project by peeling photos out of many, many albums, throwing out blurry images and sorting them into years. Scanning the photos and transferring them to our computer was very straight-forward. We're looking forward to carrying out a similar project with our boxes of slides once Share My Photos has a slide scanner for rent.

I spoke with Harley at the home show last year and after hearing about the service offered bought a coupon for scanning services. Harley gave suggestions for organizing my photos so that I would make the most of my time with the scanner. It takes time to do the sorting and clearing out doubles and photos of people you haven't got a clue who they are but it is part of the project. I inherited my parents and grandparents photos so I knew some of the people but not all. Finally the time came and I was ready! Harley brought the scanner and set it up and showed me the operation, really quite easy. So glad I did the organizing ahead of time as I was able to scan 7500 photos in the 3 days that I had the rented scanner system. I spent about about 7-8 hrs each day in 'working' with the photos (and documents). Finally it's done, all organized and in my computer, backed up and burnt on Archival DVDs. I know that if I had used my home scanner it would have taken me weeks and weeks to get through so many photos. So glad to have found out about Harley's service and would recommend using them to anyone who has a project like this. He also offers a variety of services to people who want more help in the actual process too.

We rented a scanner for 3 days and managed to leisurely scan 5,000 photos. The service was amazing - Deliver and pick up of the scanner was right on time, scanner was very easy to use and a huge plus was the fact that we could crop the photo quite easily. Amazing experience! The scanning process was super simple. Harley's instructions were so thorough that I didn't have any trouble shooting getting the machine set up and running. The whole package is very professional - he includes everything you would ever need to scan all your photos - and it makes the whole process quite fun. I was surprised how quick it was scanning 3,000 photos (my boyfriend scanned about 3,000 of his family photos as well). I rented the scanner on Vancouver Island, so I was glad to see that shipping was inexpensive and quick. Overall, I am super happy that I chose Share My Photographs. I had much more control and confidence than I would sending them to a budget scanning warehouse. I would recommend this service to anyone!

I required a photo scanning service in Vancouver and I found the company very responsive and helpful. Rented a scanner for 3 days and scanned 1200 photos in 5 hours. Ended up getting my friends and family to come over and scan their photos too. It is super fast and easy. Loved It!! Great company. They do family portraits and books too. Considering that for the future. Highly recommend them. Better than paying per photo to have it scanned.
