Yoga Within

Excellent teachers with fun personalities! I loved the teachers I've been able to experience at Yoga Within. They made the class really fun and energized, which can be hard to do with a large class. The studio space is plentiful and the atmosphere is warm and positive. They have a nice shop set up too! It features beautiful pieces of clothing and decor items (more than just your traditional yoga gear). The class schedule is uncomplicated and easy to attend with many options for different skill levels. The studio was recommended to me by two friends and I would recommend it to anyone. Prices are comparable to other yoga studios, there's flexible options in passes. If you haven't found a yoga home yet this should be on your list of locations to try!

I attended weekly prenatal sessions with Wen over 6 months leading up to my due date. Each class had a combination of improving on postures and introducing something new. I went from getting through class, to feeling strong to feeling calm. I appreciate the weekly conversation about empowerment and choices we have in pregnancy. Wen is a lovely instructor and I would highly recommend her classes.

Excellent variety of classes for all levels of yoga experience at fair price per class. Teachers and staff are all helpful & knowledgeable. Highly recommend this studio. New location is great and easily accessible in Old Strathcona / Whyte Ave area.

The best studio I have ever had the pleasure of being apart of. Beautiful welcoming space, the teachers are so kind and all bring lots of knowledge to the table. Ryan, Kristine and Tracy's classes are our favourites. We have really expanded our practice getting to learn from these wonderful humans.

Yoga Within has a stunning studio space, with fabulous instructors. Great variety of classes for all skill levels and extremely affordable. They have been offering online classes during Covid which has been very convenient. I highly recommend this studio if you are looking for personable instructors and a beautiful space to increase your yoga knowledge and skills.

I took an ashtanga class with Melanie. I have been looking for a teacher who is kind, compassionate, gentle, extremely knowledgeable about asanas, and offers very clear instruction and options to modify or deepen postures—Melanie, I'm so grateful to have met you today as you gave me all that I craved in a yoga class. :)

I've taken the Yoga Teacher's Training program at Yoga Within 5 times now. I keep coming back because Yoga Within is like a family to me. I've learned and grown so much since I started taking the program in 2014 and I can honestly say I'm a much better person for it.

Yoga Within is a quaint neighbourhood yoga studio that faces the intersection of 75 St and 90 Ave - convenient, but often noisy. Staff are very friendly and made an effort to learn my name. The pricing is below market but the quality of classes is not.Daytime classes are quite unique and geared towards a senior demographic, whereas the evening offerings fill up quicker and are better suited for young- and middle-aged professionals.I'd like to give a 5-star review, but the fact that the studio only has a single use bathroom/changeroom is unacceptable. There is a very large retail section that should be converted to better serve clients unable (or unwilling) to change at home.

I joined Yoga Within's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program in September 2021. I joined the program to connect more with my 13-year daily yoga practice rather than to learn and teach others. After every session of training, I come away feeling more convinced than the last time that it was the best decision I made. It has entirely changed my daily practice...for the better. This family-run yoga studio is spacious, bright, clean, with an amazingly knowledgeable group of teachers headed by Melanie. Above all, they make you feel you belong as soon as you enter!

New studio is STUNNING! the teachers are amazing and follow covid restrictions. Classes are super affordable and accessible for every body. As someone with an autoimmune condition I felt very safe and comfortable and will definitely be taking classes here regularly
